BTW if you think that Tolkien never wrote any morally grey stuff (in addition to the black & white stuff) then clearly you've not been paying attention. For a few examples, Boromir, Gollum/Smeagul and a fuckton of elves in the early ages.

Sure this isn't confirmed yet but the fact they're even considering it is asinine, given they said right away that this show was supposed to be more accurate to the book and Snape is described as PALE multiple times in the series.

This dude should play Kingsley or, you know, one of the other actual black characters that are in this series because it's not like there aren't any.

Though I am curious how they would handle Snape's blatant racism if they made him black? :mjpls

Have you seen the latest banlist?

My one major complaint I have is Fiendsmith being untouched.

Which is wild when it was literally Ryzeal Fiendsmith that won the WCS too. They should have at least done a preemptive limit on Bonfire too with how stupidly consistent Ryzeal is as already the undisputed best deck in the format

Also, my buddy who just put his Fire King deck together last week is having a huge mental breakdown over last night’s banlist

He was expecting perhaps hits on Diabellestar and / or Wanted: Seeker of Sinful Spoils but wasn’t expecting Konami to go straight for the jugular by banning Original Sinful Spoils

Triple Wanted and Triple Diabellstar means nothing when the card that served as the connection between Diabellstar and several Fire Decks is banned.

Fire Kings will still be competitive as an entirely pure variant but now lacks the same amount of consistency and one-card starters.

Infernoids, an already weak deck, just lost their easy access to Decatron and are made even worse. And Rescue-Ace even with Air Lifter back at 3 which is nice, I don’t see as anything other than barely Rogue at best
 
Snake-Eyes is finally dead and Diabellstar is strictly for White Forest / Azamina now
 
I was today years old when I realized Appleseed and GITs are actually connected and that Real Drive was also done by Shirow and potentially shares the universe too :wow
