This was one of Gantz major problems. It was the most egregious when they introduced the Osaka team just to have Naruhiyon murder them all within 5 chapters. He made his characters even cheaper when he revealed you could just clone niggas if you had their data. At a certain point your art can't carry the story anymore when you stop giving a shit about any of the characters.
 
Seems like the new thing with the TCG these days is to make banlists after WCS now which is good. Better than randomly announcing them whenever which was pissing people off

All I gotta say is I’m glad I was able to find a card shop in my area that had the last of my Ryzeal cards I needed. I expect the card prices for both Ryzeal and Maliss will shoot up dramatically after tonight

I’m 99% sure this list will shake up the meta, nuking Tenpai Dragon and Snake-Eyes into oblivion at least. Probably Yubel too for safe measure

Really hoping to see a bump of Miscellaneosaurus and Gold Sarcophagus both back to 3 to support Ryu-Ge and Maliss respectably.

Why wouldn’t they? Tenpai Dragon is destined for the chopping block: Universally despised by the player base and Konami gets no value since the deck is dirt cheap, consisting of Commons and Super Rares

Whole thing really felt like a fluke for how powerful it got

And I do see a shake up with them and everything else getting nuked: Goes hand in hand with the release of Crossover Breakers which they want to sell

Bonfire not being touched is wild. Ryzeal is going to go on a rampage this format

Snake-Eyes and Yubel are pretty much dead now.

Diabellestar and Wanted weren’t hit since she’s the MC with the ongoing storyline. Also probably to keep Azamina and White Forest around

Tenpai Dragon is super fragile now. Good riddance

Guess Maliss was too good to bump Gold Sarco to 2 or 3 but man I had hoped

Although I’d have done some things differently, the list looks to have done its job of phasing out the current meta for the new one

maybe with phantom of yubel gone people will remember that yubel has another fusion monster that lets them, you now, actually go for game! instead of just sitting on a "negate"

Holy shit, I missed Sangen Kaimen to 1 as well and only noticed the Chundra Limit

Yeah both to 1, forget what I said. Tenpai Dragon isn’t just fragile, the crayon eater deck just got straight up obliterated

And good riddance
 
With Original Sinful Spoils axed, Fire Kings no longer need the Diabellestar engine unless they still want to use Azamina cards

But still, I can see Pure Fire Kings now being the way to go

Still wish Promethean Princess got axed though
 
Platinum-ed Black Myth Wukong. The Erlang fight on a third playthrough was really fun at max level. Got all relic talents now, but the Wukong Stance only lasts for a minute after a fourth charge heavy attack; this with the Wukong Set only. Garbo design choice. Restricts the much better Bull King Set, and other cool sets like Galeguard and Pilgrim.

Should have been switchable like the other styles. There is a fourth D-Pad button right fucking there.
