Hard to explain, but I'm pretty sure Ratchet is scum. An ISO shows him going for low hanging fruit with Polar & Sky and now he's guns blazing on Luka and CP put it pretty well here:

The confidence Ratchet has in his Luka push is a bit much and he can pocket Ultra with the same wagon.

Also this post here is an interesting point to be making - historical trends aren't something Ratchet puts any stock in and won't use it to join a T-Pein wagon.

Yet...

He's using meta and "historical trends" here as a reason to challenge Poysers read on Luka and Poyser not liking Ratchets vote on Luka.

I agree with the T-Pein read though? Also they're different players with different styles so why would you equivocate them?

Firstly, "low hanging fruit" doesn't mean they're not scum, and given I went at Poyser too it's not even accurate.

The historical trends point is completely misrepresenting what I said - for Luka I was citing his meta, which is perfectly valid. In regards to CP, I was dismissing the idea that Polar gets pushed and ends up being town, because it has no relevance to this game.

You're clearly just picking things to argue, you go to lean scum.

Also Evans voted earlier then based the entirety of his case around posts that came after he voted, he can go.

He did make Ratchet look good in contrast as I thought Evans' posts have been very poor and uhh, not well thought through

Not actually that hard to reconcile as you're framing it, considering you started questioning him, he could just take that as a token to start pushing some mutual shade even if it's utterly inconsistent, and the fact that he has TMI that his shade is correct would inspire confidence in taking that shift in position.

Nah I’m not having that, to anybody without a smooth brain, me and luka being aligned makes no sense whatsoever based on our play around each other

I can reconcile sky believing it, there’s a 0% chance a town you or ratchet would believe it

It’d be the most awkward teammate interaction of all time. If I’m setting up sus on you, why would I abandon that to agree with you on sus on a teammate that also has me as his top town read. Why would he change his mind completely lmao? Why would I then change my mind in reaction to that? It makes no sense whatsoever coming from 2 people that are aligned with each other and there’s not a chance on this earth ratchet thinks it does

It shows an incredible lack of logic from ratchet to both A) not listen to a single point I made about luka and instead just double down and B) assume that I am “forcing the issue” and that we are aligned. Theres zero nuance in any of that read. It’s the kind of read Sky makes all the time, but it’s so far beneath ratchet that it’s not even funny

Like ratchets progression was just completely unnatural. I’m biased but I made some good points, particularly about how luka’s progression could easily come from a townie and gram seemed to be agreeing with my read of him but and maybe ratchet would still end up disagreeing with my read on balance, but didn’t take any of it into consideration at all, instead just choosing to argue with me and immediately dismiss it and bring up stuff from luka’s scum game that bore no relevance to what he’s accusing him of in this game. Then just instead said we were aligned lmao. It’s bizarre

So I'm going to categorically rule out Ultra/Ratchet being teamed here, as it is not in either player's scum meta to play in each other's lane and tie themselves to the hip like this. Especially over something like trying to get a Luka mislynch d1, at the expense of battling it out with a Gram/Poyser tandem. I think the inverse is true with Gram/Poyser going hard to defend a Luka town read against players who know him better.

Given this, I think that what Ratchet/Ultra are saying about Luka obviously has to have some merit. They both have more experience playing with him than either Gram or Poyser, who I do think have biases against Luka's playstyle. Also, as someone who was teamed with Luka last game, I actually thought he played quite well and managed to keep a consistent narrative throughout the game despite being hyper active, which is impressive for anyone to do as scum. I felt like Gram was discounting that quite a bit in the dead QT so not surprised to see him continue to discount Luka's ability here. I think it's genuine coming from him at least. Not really sold on any of Ultra/Ratchet/Poyser individually but can at least rule out Ultra/Ratchet being teamed and I think Gram is town.

I also have to say that I wouldn't be surprised if Ratchet and Luka are teamed again. Ratchet jumped on Luka as soon as it was pointed out that he flipped his poyser read on a dime. Last game Ratchet mostly pushed his teammates and I could see him wanting to mostly town-side again here, especially if he's drawn scum for the third time in a row. Ultra came to it much more organically. But actually most of Ratchet's focus has been shading poyser's reason for town reading Luka which comes off as trying to make him look bad on a Luka scum flip to set up a poyser mislynch d2. Maybe he's on to something and poyser is protecting his teammate but I don't think poyser's progression fits that theory super comfortably

In other words I think Ultra/Ratchet are right but I think Ratchet is a little too sure that he's right and is trying to set up poyser for a fall here

As for Lethal I do believe this is tic for tac his classic scum meta:

• Doesn't really provide any commitment to pushing his scum read on me
• Has ducked out of the thread for long intervals only to pop on and make little snips and jabs then anything constructive
• Parallels to past games like Ratchet's FF game where he flounders in the spotlight

Swear I didnt see this before I just posted that lol, but yeah I seem to be in exactly the same place. She's delving into psycho analysis straight away which makes me think shes more likely town. But its such a small sample size currently

Well I dont think I am disrespecting Luka that much, I was more pointing out that his play doesn't at all align with what I saw from him last game. I obviously agree that Ratchet's read doesn't seem natural, and the surety of it even less so. Your analysis about ultra and ratchet probably not being aligned is likely correct yeah tho Im not sure I would nail my flag to the mast and rule it out, I do think you're more than likely right

Ultra seems more natural in the way he's responding to people that disagree with him at least
