Awakened Zoan Lucci shouldn't be threatened by anything less than the top level commanders. Guys like King and Katakuri are what it should take to even be worth pitting against him.
Lucci managed to hold out in a fight against Gear 5th Luffy, it was a one-sided fight where he couldn't land a clean hit and mostly just got slapped around... but the fact he could hang at all and not just get pasted is highly praiseworthy since even Luffy's lesser forms could compete with Kaido at this stage.
Lucci in that skirmish actually managed to match G5's hardened punch in power, speedblitzed and incapacitated VA Sentomaru in a single blow penetrating his aCoA defense, and remained active after 3 named attacks from Gear 5th. The last we saw of him he was fighting S-Bear with Luffy and his hybrid form has been doing well at keeping pace with G4 in that exchange.
While it's been made clear there is still quite a sizeable gap between a Lucci and an all out Luffy... his performance has been putting him up there as the cream of the crop. I don't believe he's shown enough to rate him on par with guys like Kid, Law, or Zoro but he seems like one of the next best things sitting in the bracket of Sanji and other top level commanders.
There is also the fact that Gear 5 Luffy is a bit of an outlier because he has a tendency to get tagged by Kaido more than Gear 4 Luffy.

She was actually interested. Praised what you’d expect to be praised (the practical built sets). She also enjoys campy shit so even the stretching effect didn’t bug her.
Gotta say, if she can see something positive as someone that doesn’t give a shit, I’m cautiously optimistic it won’t be boring at least *shrugs*

Fans of the series already have the manga to work with, they don't need the netflix series.
Even if it's bad, it's still a gateway towards more audience for the actual series, so I feel like it'll do good in that sense and make them want to try out the source material.
