Good times. And the year after that was the apocalypse, we just didn't noticed that we all died and ended up in Hell

I am not sure how those two things are connected.

What was he supposedly fabricating?
 
this is what town ratchet does, not scum ratchet. sorry not being clear. as in he doesnt go after the stronger players due to the consequences it can have to town. i dont think he's particularly afraid of anyone as scum but he might not find it optimal to go for me to start out the game as scum either.

If it was BS from my perspective, it was just him making something up that sounded believable
I was being to wordy in the message you quoted, but it simpler terms, that's the whole thing.

Now I want to reiterate that I do now think he has the bona fides to make general statements about scum behavior
 
But by that same logic, why would Ratchet risk getting lynched by challenging the stronger players?

This is what I fail to see, the moment you presented that you've created a conundrum - at least from my perspective - as it wouldn't make sense that he would go against that ideology as scum if the basis of him doing it is to avoid getting lynched/ mislynched.
If anything this makes it difficult to really put him in either side of the pendulum from the early phases
 
I'm personally struggling to find the anchor point you have in this interaction to give you this perspective, but you know what I think I'll just leave it at that and move on.

I've gotten lynched in the majority of games I've played the last 6 months. Lynched or vigged. Ratchet almost never gets lynched. I don't think the risk is that great.

Not that I really disagree. Not due to fear of being lynched but moreso due to it not being optimal


And Ratchet doesn't get easier to read as phases go by because he doesn't hesitate lynching his teammates lol.
 
@MagicI think the town reads thing is a fair point. If it's all the same, I'm going to withhold my read on Watson for now, I'd like to see her play naturally a bit longer before laying out where I am with her. Gad is one that I feel like I should have a read on but don't, and I don't think engaging directly will help with that.

Of what I haven't said, I think Luka is town. I actually like the Melkor direction on it's own merits, aside from that I think they've looked to establish a presence and a foothold with people where as scum I find them to be more likely to try and avoid that.

I like Polar Bear so far, think their point on Ichigo was fair. Also liked his reaction to my vote, didn't really try to spin anything from it and just took it wholesale.

As mentioned, I like Tweet, Ruffles and Mango for town.

I think your second point is a bit weak, and it's part of the larger issue I'm having with you this game. Plainly, I cannot get on the same page with you at all. In this one, you take an isolated example where I state a preference of mine, and act like it's something I've followed every game, when you could grab any number of games from here and see me walk back on that very sentiment as town. So I don't understand why that's what your point of reference is, to me it seems like you just referenced behaviour where I've done differently as town to suggest that there is some motive at play for me doing so here, and I don't buy that as a genuine thought process at all.

To establish a baseline for myself here, I was expecting a few days break before this game started so my intent is to play more into observation than driving anything. With the activity so far it hasn't really panned out that way, but if you're looking for me to be super proactive in this game then you're going to be disappointed. I still have about 1/4 of the town found so far so it's not like I'm not doing anything or not being proactive.

That's about as charitable as I can be to your point of view here. I think you fully understand that my vote on you was not a vote to lynch but to accompany stakes, in that sense with the second point you raised I think you've been putting the cart before the horse, not for the first time in this game. I'd appreciate it if you would actually make an effort to shore up where I'm apparently not understanding instead of just calling me dense or thick, believe it or not it doesn't really help me read you any better (or worse, I suppose).

Nothing really else to add to this, think I want to let the thread play out a bit more.
 
Well, we're at a standstill here.

Guess we gotta wait for the uninitiated to create something new. Only so much 3-4 people can do before it gets repetetive.

I will soon be going though, and I will be low on the activity front over the weekend once I do leave now soon.

Okay, we're spreading more lies huh. I don't know where you're from, but European cuisine focuses on bringing forth the individual ingredient, not showering food in spices and herbs.
Though yes, there are those who make bland food - can't deny that - but I will not take this laying down.

Also, you're living in Sweden and talking Swedish = you're pretending to be Swedish.
 
I think I finally get it but I don't think what Ratchet said was intended to be specific to Mango? At least not the one you're referencing I think?
