FTR, Either Ratchet is town and presumably has a genuine read on Mango, or Ratchet is TMIing Mango. I don't think the interactions are w/w between the two, specifically Mango just sitting back and letting Ratchet defend him, while at the same time saying it blatnetly in thread that he thought Ratchet was his lawyer. Either way Mango is probably just town here.

I don't think he's defending me to defend me, but rather he is pointing out the flaw of your basis for this discussion - that you have chosen to take an arguably disingenious angle to push a discussion - at least to give you benefit of the doubt that what you're doing here is not malicious.

Because I don't like these subtle shades you're throwing so early when Mel is usually a self-resolving slot and him being auto scum read by the majority of players makes him a prime lynch candidate. It's easy.
It's not that the act of what you're doing is incredibly shady (town can pull this shit to, but if I ask myself "why Mel? Why is someone going after Melkor?" it's, in my experience, usually a bad sign

I am inclined to believe it comes from a Town PoV, however as stated previously I am wary of clearing Ratchet, especially this early.
But my vibes are telling me that he doesn't operate under scum agenda - at least for the time being.
i didnt attribute your actions as a defense, mango did. i specifically said i wasn't sussing him so he wouldn't think i was/that you were being his lawyer defending him. ergo i never stated you were defending him because i didnt think there was anything for you to defend him from. if anything i think youre defending yourself as, im sure you know, suggesting you could be the one buddying him would mean it's more likely that you're the one i could see as scum in this scenario and not himself.

because i prefer my vote where it is. having a thunderdome with ratchet is not really a productive use of my time in a 26 player game. im not sure what his alignment is and it could lead to a mess of a day 1. it might anyway!

he was the first that pointed out melkor often appearing scummy to people to luka when luka was pushing melkor. it was a defense of melkor from luka.
Well, to clarify, the case revolved around me so of course Ratchet speaking up against your angle is a defense - sure
But the main point I wanted to convey was that Ratchet was able to communicate certain points I couldn't quite articulate myself.

i can assure you there was nothing disingenious about my point and it was pretty spot on. what ratchet was doing is much more likely to be buddying than what melkor was doing as buddying.
to the extent that if ratchet is scum youre essentially already pocketed based on your own behaviour here lol.
