Magic going out of his way to say that Ratchet is a heavy busser and we should still be suspicious of him even if he lynches a scum isn’t something wise to say. If they’re scum together it reduces any equity Ratchet can get if he busses, as it’s going to be very difficult for Magic to give him a town read in the game unless he buses two teammates.

I don’t get any theatrical vibe from their convo either, so think is is a safe assumption

Which parts do you think he misrepresented? My take here is that you’re referring to the ‘meta’ label?

Sort of; I have a bit of time on my hands and figure it’d be nice to get involved early doors. I didn’t really have much desire to read back last game as I repped in when scum were miles and miles behind.

However, double voter is often a policy lynch late game and I don’t really fancy being lynched. Also town lose all the time so can’t really cruise like 2018 WF as it would require town to play very well not to lose.

No, not really. for example one post he says to Mango "look, he's hard defending you despite you not even needing it", and then when I told him that I wasn't actually defending him, he turns around and says "yeah that was the point". Like ??? The meta thing was misrepresentation, because he was arguing that, because the read on Mango had some degree of meta in it, it couldn't match anything to do with what Melkor did, when that was hardly the point at all (this has been explained a few times over as to why this is).

In addition he also presented the idea that I as town have said I don't like going for strong players day 1 before as an issue with me this game, but the thought process makes absolutely no sense. He would have to compile his shared experience with me, redact all the times I as town am not beholden to that sentiment, and then forget about them, all to argue it as something apparently intrinsic to my town meta. I don't see any way for him to think that and be genuine, which is why I've asked and mostly been ignored. And when he has deigned to respond it has been to dismiss what I'm saying as me being dense or oblivious when I think if my posts are actually read the point should be pretty plain.

Hmm, I don’t really agree with the bolded - I’m on my phone so getting quotes going to be a nightmare, but my takeaway from that conversation wasnt that he was saying it couldn’t match at all, more looking to expose the fault in the positions taken (mango is quick to accuse Melkor of buddying but turns a blind eye to you, on the basis that your position is directly favourable to him)

As for the rest, the lawyering conversation you’re plain flat out wrong about. Mango clearly felt you were defending him, which is what magic correctly picked him up on. You interjected and say you’re not defending mango, you’re attacking magic - but it wasn’t about what you were doing, only mangos faulty perception of it. I’d urge you to reconsider your position on that
