While I think that what he did is easily fakeable, I also think that as scum he'd end up with more of a presentable push that he can offer to us in order to take control of the phase. I didn't really sense much of an agenda from him, like when he went and wanted us to think he nailed Ratchet to a wall, he still didn't present it as this is a gotcha, lynch right now. That's why I think he miiiiiight be town

Like take his kill out, and there’s what looks like a mafia kill, serial type kill, and a poison. We’d need to have 2 killer indies or mafia could double kill (with a poison from someone in the mix)

@Ultra I mentioned why not Magic in that first post you quoted, first paragraph even. If you're asking why I didn't shoot him anyway, I think the risk of me being wrong about a Magic shot is far greater than me being wrong g about anyone else. Obviously that's a negative way of looking at it but I know what I'm doing with this role, I'm not much for gambling.

@Jaguark101 I felt like Melkor was hitting all the things he should say without really any thought behind them. He was making a few town reads but there was an absence of following through with them, and scum reads were non-existent. That's the broad strokes, anyway.

@Psychic I claimed Vig because I am Vig, Melkor claimed first hence why I counter claimed. I didn't believe that there would be two Vigs, thought didn't even cross my mind after seeing his claim.

@Dr. Watson If you mean if I had a whole team mapped out for Rugrat then no, I didn't have that. After seeing Melkor's flip, his sentiment struck me as something I knew to be Anti-Town, and the lack of him really taking a position over Melkor but doing some of the legwork in advance of that against me was the tipping point. It's easy with hindsight now to say "bad kill" but I do think he was a plausible lynch today (I know it's what I would be pushing for) so in that respect I stand by my choice.

@Mr. Reloaded What do you think of Ultra/Magic?

How closely were you following that back and forth to come away from this conclusion that Magic was trying to case Ratchet?

Though something to consider - I don't think Tweet as scum talks about his scum mate like that. Make of it what you will.
 
Because basically Ratchet was the one who called him out and voted him first, and then Magic responded by saying he's kinda sus but doesn't really wanna go there Day 1

I don't really see how that's incompatible with him being scum? Just seems like he's deflecting a conflict, something you can argue he would do as either alignment, but not a great case for him being town

I do think this is fair though and between the two I would lean heavily in favour of Magic being scum before I do Tweet.

I've been scum with Tweet and seen him play it several times, he is too helpful to town more than anything else. I don't think he chooses his partner who is already getting heat to attach a very weak read to and call it a day. I would say at a minimum they're not aligned.
