Hiroyuki Imaishi has designed an official Venom figure!


Not only is this not the first time that someone from Trigger has designed an official Marvel figure, this is not even the first time someone at Trigger has designed a Spiderman figure. Akira Amemiya has also designed an official model for Peni Parker's SP//DR.

Trigger needs to do a Marvel animated universe.

Trigger needs to do a Marvel animated universe.

This is something I've been hoping they'd make for ages too (both Imaishi and Amemiya at least are fans of the Marvel comics, with there being a very subtle reference to World War Hulk in KLK's second ending). Given Gridman (which started as a short) and Delicious in Dungeon (which started as an ad for the manga), this may actually be a possibility (though hopefully we'll get a Shantae anime by Yoh Yohsinari too)...
