I think he's approaching them game in a more safe matter than he usually does, and I've found his reads of other players kind of off mark. Asks a lot more questions instead of fast forwarding to conclusions. If he's town we should sort of mindmeld without even trying.

Depends on how busy he is. Been scum with him before as well and he didn‘t play either, but if his team is not very active he tries actually playing.

that to me does read as a bit of a ‘keeping up appearances vote’ that he proactively wants a reason to get away from and move elsewhere if I’m being pessimistic

What does Indigo gain from claiming a cop check on me and basically making himself a target, though? I do think it‘s possible he did this for cred, but at the same time there could be a Serial or another hostile and if scum he just makes himself a target for a kill for no reason.
