Notably the player character who was just holding her hand is fine, so is the shield which was in front of Mash. The light band also isn't exactly a huge aoe attack, maybe like a cylinder with Mash's height as the radius. Its just supposedly potent enough to bore through the planet, which no one on the team should really care about.

Literally ignores that Mash's Noble Phantasm can literally no sell physics for those behind her(as she does it to stop a fall that would kill Ritsuka with no damage to either) and we literally see that Goetia's Noble Phantasm is able to push down the energy to a far more manageable size than North America sized Ring it usually is...

Rinnegan's absorption is similarly stated to be infinite, which is basically shown to be true. It's never overcome in the series just by throwing more ninjutsu at it. Sure the rate of absorption isn't instant, but we see what happens when an attack has too much chakra to absorb at once, the attack is blocked and gradually drained of chakra.

Infinite Absorption Rinnegan! He can now solo TOAA and The Presence and even Elric Moorcock for free.

Jiraiya actually uses an aoe fire attack against Pain, who was not cooked at all from the heat. Sure, the bands are on another level, but Madara and especially Kaguya are also way above Pain. It'd be different if Pain took literally any environmental damage from it, but nada.

Being able to block a Fire Jutsu = Being able to block a beam in which the heat created can burn straight through a Planet.

The HST team doesn't really need to even block the band, they can just dodge. Most of them can fly and don't need the planet to be intact.
