it's that you can and should step back and try reading as an observer rather than through direct involvement.

or do things like actually ask people their reads on your own town reads and why. get them to solve without your own involvement or direction.

ive led a lynch on scum on day 2 and was called scum because i had a neutral read on the scum lynched day 1 because i should have also known they were scum.

we are not in the same realms of expectations, ekko.

its not about expectations but rather people treating you ingenuinly right as day starts lol

it's not about being better tho. as i said even in games you're doing great it's important to know when you might just be wrong.

here is what it boils down to

finding players as town from individual play

i need to nail this down otherwise i subject myself to driving mislynches

some players i shud just read town from tone and not bother expecting content from

i cant promise ever finding ultra here tho. even on individual play he played good. he needed to be contested harder in the pushes he made particularly against fang and rdk in day 2. we might have seen something come there

i value active aggressive players even tho they dont always turn out town but i cant see myself lynching them over inactive ones that arent playing

Though I feel super bad because you couldn't play the game properly with having to defend me for 4 days straight from everyone. That really didn't give you anytime to properly scumhunt at all. You're so precious. Sorry I had to sub out dued to irl problems, I didn't know that would cause my role to get modkill. I feel really bad about the whole thing.

1) your game started strong and tailed off hard past day 2 in terms of trying to solve more than one person at a time. i mean you didn't really have to, but your narrow focus was somewhat concerning

2) a better player might question your lack of progression with your reads. you never reconsidered your lynch of the day on any of the days. it's not really towny to just have a singular focus on a read and never once reconsider or try to think past it on their own. even then it's not like this was needed.

it really is hard to accurately judge you for this game lol. you faced literally no pressure, so job well done. maybe dont be so cowardly and dont kill all the good players so early. there's no fun in that.

Yes I'm advocating for what is essentially sub optimal play.

And to be fair I can understand why most players don't agree with this suggestion. Cp does cause its more fun. I did it cause I'm a cunt that hated people calling me stupid/bad town player when I was playing well but was just loud, abrasive, and annoyingly(so like ekko except the reads were on point).

and because im a cunt i went out of my way to beat every single person that was considered a good town player as scum at or near end game because if they're so good then why are they losing to an idiot.

and then it just continued because even after being accepted as good id be told im not as good as i think, so rinse and repeat.

and even now i like going out of my way to beat said good players because im still a cunt that likes to prove the same tired point of wanting to beat everyone as town and catching them as scum.

Well for what it's worth those kills were mostly positional. Obviously there's a lot of overlap between that and skill level as better players will have better reads and attract more attention. If Craig didn't go for Richard, who we expected to get lynched and would clear him inevitably, we wouldn't kill him. If it wasn't for you getting a cop check I may have kept pushing you.
