Not so sure why Ultra seems to be townread for his meme post on me. Sure, he would do that as town, but who says he wouldn't also do that as scum? Everyone, especially Ratchet, seems to be so focussed on Sigismund for voting me but this could be the ideal distraction actually. It doesn't help that Sigismund's playstyle here is much more active in threadplay than I've every seen him on Worstgen, I know I said this before but this is simply a fact.

Half of the players either haven't shown up or are lurking, so not even sure if scum is already getting involved at all so far.

I have a poe as of post 666 that I'm almost certain has all of if not all but one scum in it with the rest being town reads. There isn't much to rub in my face.

So looking back the players giving the strongest opposition to the thread direction yesterday and didn't basically fall into Kurumi/Dodd with little resistance were:

Ratchet
Magic
Bachi (kinda)

So yeah I think Ratchet/Magic need some close examination today. Neither are clean cut fits but both had play yesterday that was positionally resistant to how things were going at various points and there was attempts to try and regain some thread control both before deciding the duel and then after the duel was locked in.

I'm still suspicious of Bachi, he made some half-hearted attempt to try deflecting off both Kurumi and Dobbsy giving them the green light because of their character claims, even going as far as to claim this would be a bastard game if Dobbsy wasn't actually Sanji.

Magic didn't do himself any favors with how heavily resistant he was to having the duel go through and hostility towards T-Pein and Ekko during that whole ordeal.

Pretty sure that isn't really AI as no duel target was picked and ekko/tpein piss me off.

I can't take Bachi off the table here in good conscious.

But if you consider scum perspective of being a mate to Kurumi, and seeing her basically rage quit, I think his reaction is a bit outside the norm. When you see that, you don't defend them, in fact you're probably pissed so you go straight to the bus but start talking about anything else.

I also think that in spite of Bachi town reading Joy he didn't seem hesitant at all that she was the duel target

Uh no, you at multiple points advocated for T-Pein to lose the duel, taking the duel off the table entirely - it was basically the focal point of your play. You advocated for a path of direction which concretely benefitted the scum team.

Good odds that had we waited for more "information" to come out, as you advocated for, the framer/lawyer could have come into play as well.

After Melkor announced the duel on Kurumi you continued being super hostile towards Ekko and T-Pein, and even offered an alliance negotiating with the SK to have them taken out.

Anyway at the risk of sounding silly I still think the duel/lynch was silly yesterday, it could easily have blown up and was a needless risk.

In terms of reads I think GoddessBlade is probably the best bet I have, not feeling too great about Fang either. I'm not going to veto a Magic lynch but I'm not strongly in favour of it either - I can see some similarities between this and DD actually especially in terms of how he is pushing lynches and I do get the feeling he's trying to play to me a bit. On the other hand I mostly agree with him on his stance regarding the lynch yesterday.

I will however retire my Craig suspicion. I don't think it's impossible to be scum here but it requires quite a few hoops to jump through to get there, and with the Doddsy flip I'm not really seeing much of a case. Will post a reads list shortly
