Oh I'm not denying the Vaizard Lieutenants are really strong, easily captain level in their own right by any reasonable standards, or trying to insinuate Harribel is weak because of her performance against them. Only emphasizing the readily apparent gap between her and Stark as he was taking on the Captains of the people Harribel was stalemating (and we have no reason to believe they've close the gap between them and their superiors) and styling all over them. Harribel sure as shit ain't weak, not trying to downplay the future queen, Stark's just a lot fucking stronger (pre-skip at least). The main point being that this notion of there not being much of a difference in power between Espada's 1 - 4 (therefore allowing R2 to push Ulquiorra above his superiors) is complete nonsense.

And yet Aizen specifically left HIM to bring out more of Ichigo's Hollow powers, the only Espada with a second release? Purely by coincidence I guess. :maybe The issue here is that to assume this transformation alone is enough to put him over, you have to assume the gap between Ulquiorra and the Espada higher ranked than him is small to start with. Which is blatantly not the case, especially when you're comparing him to the likes of the often downplayed Stark, given the sheer disparity of Harribel struggling with Vaizard Lieutenants while her superior is styling on Vaizard Captains the second he stops holding back. That particular novel isn't canon, the only one that is canon is CFYOW which doesn't have Cien Granz or any of that shit.

That right there is kind of the main problem. Most of these idiots DO believe Ulquiorra is not only stronger than the other Espada, but considerably so. To the point he is often specifically excluded/banned from threads matching characters against the Espada as a whole. Either because "Lanza make big boom" or because "H2 is some big percentage of Dangai/EoS Ichigo and he matched a Cero with CO", completely ignoring the training that was required for Ichigo to actually reach those levels. They only really seem to acknowledge Gremmy, Royd and the Elites as beating him, that's it. :kobeha Pretty much, but try telling them that.

There being worse examples of it, doesn't make his critcism of the genderbending any less valid. I overlook Artoria because she is a mythological character, not a historical one. Of which there are several examples of bullshit genderbending for the sake of it in this series. I understand wanting to defend a series you like, especially when the criticisms are borne from ignorance and aren't actually true in the first place, I'm the same with Final Fantasy XIII. But when the criticism is of something the series actually DOES do, it's not really the hill you want to die on is it? If someone says they didn't like Final Fantasy XIII because there wasn't much exploration or side content, then I'm not gonna get pissy because, even though that particular aspect didn't bother me, they're still right at the end of the day and it's a valid reason to dislike the game. It's a kingdom of KNIGHTS, ruled by KNIGHTS. And while women could be Queens in real history at that point, there isn't really a point where they were ever knights. That would be my best answer for why Camelot wouldn't accept a Queen.

Don't care what out of universe reason Artoria was made a woman for, it works really well for her character in the story, adding to how much she dehumanized herself to be King and the tragic aspect of that. She's a peak quality character and that's all I give a fuck about at the end of the day.

In fairness the argument is that he can outlast Lillie since Vollstanding is draining and can't be maintained indefinitely. And that Ichigo would be too fast for Lillie to hit, especially since Shunsui can avoid them. The issue with that is, Lillie's projectiles don't travel (Shunsui was only able to avoid them because of a specific game) and getting hit would fuck him over just as much as Death Dealing from Askin did. Only when he's in Hollow Shikai or Bankai form (according to them) and Bankai is still physically inferior to Dangai. :kobeha Otherwise he's weaker than Yoruichi, which of course has to also apply to FB Ichigo + Quincy powers because EoS Shikai's stated to be stronger. Like one dude (Worlds Strongest) thinks Unohana would win against Kenpachi, which is obviously stupid but again it's one or a couple people saying this, and I've pointed out he actually doesn't have better feats than Shikai Yamamoto.
