I think it is, yes. The most direct step they could take is plan out a comfortable budget and launch a gofundme per season. Considering DB was trending on Twitter for multiple days I’d say they should be able to reach a budgetary goal for that without very much issue. Scheduling the time to do it and coordinate it with several dozen new people (on freelance time) is the tougher part since this is essentially their secondary income while they find primary work to support themselves at least until this might take off as its own mini self-sustaining business model I think that might be the end goal here. The specefic arguments I’ve seen brought up for Kenpachi in the subreddit is that he’s one of the 5 war powers (along with Ichigo and Aizen who are top tiers and Ichibei/Urahara who are prep strategists) specifically for his combat strength where as Yhwach didn’t have Yama-jii on the list

He’s married with his wife but I don’t know what her job is and I don’t think it’s enough to sustain a family of four, I hope he finds a new job soon. With RT gone a lot of the online market is in LA and moving there is so expensive it’s pretty much out of the option for most people in Texas.

Everyone in the subreddit is unusually optimistic about it the mentality of "They made it work before RT, they don't need the company to make more" is a prevailing opinion there :really I don't think they realize DB was apart of SA and Full screen I don't think they realize it's more than just a fun collaboration with a bunch of people, this was their employment and livelihood, they need a budget to keep not only this ship running but sustain an affordable income. Like Chad lives in a house with two kids to raise. Even if they all do come together and collaborate as their collective brain child with this they need an employer because splitting youtube sponsorships among several dozen people per episode isn't a sustainable idea. Back in the S5 days they said that the usual cost was about $5k per episode, the most expensive being Power Rangers vs Voltron being $10k That's about $80k per season and according to Sam's post here it doesn't look like the Youtube channel would help with that Keep in mind in terms of youtube monetization (very roughly) 1 million views is around 1k and assuming none of the episodes from S10 are claimed (which is borderline impossible) the total money the most generous money they earned via youtube views would be 39k. Granted sponsorships would make up for lack of monetization and I don't know how much they pay but still.

It can, there will be obvious budget cuts though. They have 5.78 Million subscribers that's higher than Game Grumps worst case scenario they'll raise a gofundme per season or rely on patreon.

That's so fascinating to me because the G1 blog I read they already went into detail about how uni/multiverse stuff was all bunk and either mistranslations, out of context statements or fluff from strategy guides written by people who weren't even involved in the game at all. Even the Kamiya and Mundus stuff they knew not to except so I don't know what cool aid they could have drank to jump back in the rabbit hole of DMC characters being universe level with literally nothing to back this up. Even GOW has more room for argument than DMC does.
