Yeah but there's like 14 hours left and I assume much of the game is going to miss most of that...feel like we should be trying to converge on something RN and not running off in different directionsi didnt ask you to push another direction?
having multiple wagons is good on day 1 so to see where people land and it helps with flips later on(if anyone ever looks back). i dont care if it makes me look bad, there's benefits of it overall as people then have to decide one way or another rather than just not at all.
she sniped juice and sniped bachi largely from what i read. any other attacks feel much safer. i'll review her game from last as i said as i just got a meeting for work and then go from there.
by all means if you have a better direction then push it.
On this particular instance, this isn't the reason. Juice said she'll open scum, after which I voted her. Sky talks about how she's quick to respond to emotions when pushed later which made me keep my vote on her. Didn't explain because no one asked and well, she said she's open-scumming...Gad doesn't give a satisfactory response but there is less direct antagonism featured in his approach to voting Chou here, it *reads* townie and the approach he has can be explained by less familiarity with people here as he's explained
And now it's readback time, from what I can tell no one asked so I'll just offer my takeIf you'll be wanting a claim off me let me know soon, I'll soon be unavailable for a couple of hours and I don't enjoy being hanged while inactive
If you think scum would push an alternate wagon and that Sky vs Bachi could be distancing, why don't you vote Bachi or push a case against Bachi?im not against the frinckles wagon or anything but i feel like there's a lot of pressure there and almost no defense and if he has a team i think there would be at least some push back or an alternative wagon. bachi could be the alternative wagon but tweet is the one mostly pushing that and i dont think tweet is scum. sky is also pushing that and it could be a distance between the two as tweet mentioned earlier but overall bachi appears rather antagonistic. i still havent had the time to cross compare to the previous game but i dont want to keep refraining from voting.
Depends if Frinc is from the same site as Hayumi really. If this is the case it could be a case of trusting a top player for now (I tend to do that D1 tbh)what did you think of frinckles backing off their suspicion on me due to hayumi giving me a town read(lean?) without even getting an elaboration as to why?
Bad post. Surely you're good enough to know that town and scum can push the same way for different reasons? Especially in exceptional cases like this where a player is going against the spirit of the gameI will say it's a bit weird how aurelian/sky/bachi all were in agreement in regards to voting chou and shading her despite their reads on one another. Weird in the fact it seemed to give them no pause at all.
Then I'd just chalk it up to a case of trusting another player's judgement
Well it's more simple than that. I just townread Hayumi and it was beginning to feel silly focusing so heavily on early game interactions so yeah, find different more interesting directions.Depends if Frinc is from the same site as Hayumi really. If this is the case it could be a case of trusting a top player for now (I tend to do that D1 tbh)
Where's the suggestion that Frinc instantly backed off though? Could it not have been just a case of finding different more interesting directions? Gonna need you to tell me where Frinc said "I suspect Magic is scum" and then later said "I think Magic is town"
Really not a fan of being led into a read either. Not just because it's slimy, but because it's disrespectful
i wasn't leading you into a read. i found it strange you didnt comment on that yourself as it's something id expect you to find scummy/to call someone out for(walking back on a read just cause someone else called the person town).Depends if Frinc is from the same site as Hayumi really. If this is the case it could be a case of trusting a top player for now (I tend to do that D1 tbh)

you didn't vote them for going against the spirit of the game, you voted them cause you felt they were scummy and were arguing how them quitting like this isn't a confirmation they're town against others that were proposing the idea that the quitting was indicative of them being town(you specifically pointed this out to retro i believe).Bad post. Weird reasoning, nothing stops scum from being sloppy. If anything, if yours were the prevailing theory, scum would play deliberately sloppy to throw town off. There’s a certain sloppiness to bachi that doesn’t compute as scum lol
Neither did I say she was scum? I just said she was clearly not in the right headspace for Mafia, and what she was posting was indicative of that rather than her alignmentyou didn't vote them for going against the spirit of the game, you voted them cause you felt they were scummy and were arguing how them quitting like this isn't a confirmation they're town against others that were proposing the idea that the quitting was indicative of them being town(you specifically pointed this out to retro i believe).

Bachi - 3
Sky - 2
Gram - 1
Aurelian - 1
Frinckles - 4
Nibel - 1
Frinckles is the alternate wagon if you look at it from that perspective you're talking about. And it sounds like you might scum read them more than Frinckles.
Lot of neutrals on particularly contentious players, really makes me regret my early town lean on you :<You're going to have to explain why you don't like it with whatever information that I had.
Anyway:
Xeno: fluffed mechanics talk, very defensive over what amounted to one vote, maybe too nervous?
Aurelian: Fang? Seems very neutral like every time I've played with them; not interested in voting them at the moment
Retrolize: I feel like there's too vote counting. Even if it's just for themselves, I'd like to see more content instead of padding.
ChouChou: just vig them if they aren't playing; no need to waste a lynch
Sky: I like Shy's initiative for most of D1. Not afraid to actually cause some trouble and engage with others, even provoking others. I'm okay with having them around for an extra dayphase.
Hayumi: Hasn't don't much. Very neutral on them.
Bachi: Similarly to Sky, I like their engagement so far.
Frinkles: Not sure how I feel about them. Lots of post but relatively small amount of content from them. I wouldn't mind someone poking them a bit.
CraigPelton: Neutral. I don't feel anything about them.
Busy. I'll post more later,.
From my perspective this sentence seems utterly bizarre. It's a bad thing if some people town read me?There are people who have town reads on him tho - are you expecting them to just watch him sink without a trace?
Familiar = town? How? Also another nullGadministrator: I don't have a strong opinion. I wouldn't want to vote them.
Nibel: @Nibel What are you reads?
Hans Tweetenburg: I sort of like them. I'm not looking to lynch them at all.
Magic: I like them. I'd so far as to give them a town read. They're posting feels familiar.
