Humanity, at least the front face of it, is nowhere near advanced in comparison to Honkai Humanity. There's no evidence Alduin rejected his role (infact, word of god and the artbook confirm directly otherwise). Dovahkiins first fight against Alduin they only had Paarthunax for help, and the final battle against Miraak was by themselves.Alduin essentially nerfed himself by going against his assigned role(the World eater) and wanted to conquer and rule instead. The DB also had help from 3 other dead heroes.
Solsthem is the size of a small country so it could end up continent level. I'll get into the lorebook another time, but in all honesty you don't need it for Dovahkiin to reach continent level (or way higher); Storm Call is continent level as so is Nahfahlaar (who is weaker than Alduin).Miraak and Vahlok are responsible for the island of Solstheim as when they fought they broke a chunk off the main landmass. So still a great feat just not "bust a continent" (and even then the in game lore book may not be 100% accurate)
