speed of thought gets a bit overhyped. It's basically just the uppermost limit of what your reaction speed would be, nothing more nothing less

It is, it's just funny to me because Mook is acting as if "Speed of Thought" is a huge deal in and of itself when it's only the case for people fast enough to think faster than the average human...
Like Macht's spell working on that is worthless because most Frieren Mages and warriors aren't all that fast or quick thinking meanwhile Kisame is a damn near Kage level monster that got speedblitzed by 5th Gate Guy before he can finish his thought and A is obviously faster than that.

No, they can't, having just yesterday watched the film, I can say with confidence that none of the Elden Ring bosses have the means to actually tag Sam if he decides to fly around, the attack range of the Elden Ring bosses is hilariously short compared to the kind of range Sam enganges in the movie (There's a sequence in the movie where Sam and Joaquín non-lethally enganges with 2 mind-controlled pilots flying F-18s all while dodging 2 Japanese planes shooting at both them and the 2 F-18s).
