Don’t blame them. Shit was an interactive movie more than a videogame.
Like what were they thinking would happen with a game so barebones of any actual content that they even locked the actual ending behind a paywall in a time where online on consoles was still taking off
I think what annoyed me more than the outcome was Kratos’ holier than thou attitude with some of his lines to Asura about him being consumed by his anger
Like, bitch please. The whole game was nothing short of righteous fury from Asura, whose was both thoroughly justified in his anger towards everything done to both himself and humanity at the hands of his former comrades and always directed it towards only the motherfuckers that deserved it
Like even when he finally snapped and turned into his barely cognizant Wrath form, it was still noted how he had enough self-control to not cause harm to anyone besides Demigod soldiers and Gohma
That’s more than you can ever say you did Kratos, at least until Ragnarok which required you to cut your balls off while doing so
