Honestly, I think some of you guys are too used to Memetic Kratos.
Even the Greek Era Kratos often times preferred to avoid violence when possible so long as it wasn’t someone he was personally out to get.
Damn near every boss fight starts with them instigating the fight and Kratos has tried more than a few times to reason with them.
Hercules, Theseus, Hermes, Helios, etc all get alternatives to be spared or to at least back off and didn’t take it
