Had some absolute sperg recently try to tell me that Akame Ga Kill of all things had some of the most emotional deaths in anime. 
I showed him this, and told him that none of the character deaths in that trash-ass series could reach even a hundredth of the emotional weight behind a death like this:

And then later on it turns out his last act saved the girl who became Angel, if only for a bit

Yeah, I'm aware. Then they legit had her pass on to the next life again in his arms. That boy just couldn't catch a break.

And than we find out with his death who he gave his heart too…
