It's not rumor, it is all but confirmed seeing he is one of the chars that appears alongside peacemaker, quan chi, ermac on DLC announcement. Which shows how predatory NR is seeing Ermac and Quan Chi are already in the game

MK10 was whack. Cassie beating Shinnok, D’Vorah killing both Baraka and Mileena, it being the start of Netherealms terrible woke censorship, etc

Only cool things about that game was giving us Takeda and Erron Black

Tbf, Baraka is always potrayed as mid tier in all of his appearances and Mileena is massively weakened from abusing the amulet so D'vorah killed them makes sense.

It is still better than mk11 where Sindel is Shao Kahn simp all along and Kotal and Jade somehow are a couple
