So the main question for someone like me still stands:

Is the game good?

Yes*. It's got decent fast-paced action gameplay, a large number of characters with their own unique mechanics, and the story has some good stuff as well. There also like five or six rotating extra game modes that focus on different things so you don't just use the same characters over and over.

*it's still a gacha game, though admittedly a generous one. While you can get every character without spending money eventually, you'll have to spend a bit if you also want their uber weapons and the like

saitama and garou might want to have a chat with this toaster verse :mjpls

You know what truly makes this Ironic Blade?
Punishing Grey Raven officially became Cosmic Horror in the Chinese version LMFAO.
The Punishing Virus came from an entirely different plane of existence, we fight beings that can screw with our Reality like nothing and one of the main characters(Lee) literally gains a super Construct body that allows him to literally bring versions of himself from the past and present all at once.

Saitama and Garou are officially fucked :kobeha

To get people caught up to speed with the latest Official Translation of PGR:

Basically we get heavy hints that the Punishing Virus(The shit that basically destroyed the Golden Age, wrecking the Planet by becoming the Red Tide, literally creating new creatures and beings on the level of High End Constructs, etc,) is literally not from this World due to a remaining Zero Energy Reactor(yes, Humanity actually reached this far in PGR) not producing the Punishing Virus at all no matter how many tests they did to try and replicate it.

A future chapter actually confirms the Punishing Virus isn't from our Reality(not just Planet or even Solar System or Galaxy, it's literally nowhere in our dimension) and most likely comes from the same dimension as these guys:

They can easily create technology to limit or even potentially purify the Virus(which is absurd given how nonsense it is to even be able to screw with old fashioned machines, factories and the human mind and even create it's own race of beings if it becomes the Red Tide), can create a Tower that simply shooting out Red EM Lights causes Humans AND Constructs to go insane, can completely screw with Time and Space and even the being in the picture is just a literal projection and not the real thing(and can obviously still kill you).

Yeah... @CrossTheHorizon wasn't wrong at all there.

Alpha is making it harder for her clone to catch up to her.

Lucia is gonna need some absolute Grade A bullshit considering she's being left behind hardcore.
Also, the Commandant(The MC that the Constructs rally behind) was able to actually handle the Punishing Virus to a decent extent despite connecting their minds to an Ascendant(Luna) in one of the recent chapters.
The more absurd thing is that Luna was supposed to be weakened due to being cut off from the Ascent Network(Where they control the Punishing Virus to ludicrous degrees, even wearing it like clothing) but somehow, her connecting to the Commandant was able to power her up to the same level as she was as an Ascendant.

So basically, the MC is the only one to literally link with an Ascendant and not die.
