I should tell you about my recent experience when there has been two town claims of the same role. Spoiler alert, one of the claims always turns out wolf.

no lynch somewhat killed my motivation, ngl, i'd still lynch vinegar tbh, check out one post of mine from late D1 when i ISO'd her last 10 posts, if this person is anything but scum then i can very well pick random person and sheep them from now on because i clearly have no idea what i'm talking about

reading lee and ratchet's discussion i'll be surprised if it's not t vs s, this phase lee looks kinda desperate so idk, but i still don't trust ratchet, thing is i don't remember last time i've played with town ratchet so i might be biased (this whole "oh, i'm also a tree stump" gives me strong "i have post restriction and i can't claim" energy - then he lied because he didn't want to claim, now he could've lied to avoid lynch).

magic i was like 90% sure was town, but his picking ratchet as neighbour partner is weird af, even after his explanation, still i'd expect him to invite 3rd person who could confirm this role even exist, so i wouldn't lynch him today - and i expect it should be someone who won't be questionable choice looking at thread, so idk, not me because some people already think i'm her scummate and not CP who's nodding at everything magic is saying, surprise me @Magic

ekko's change is reads is kinda odd, but i have theory about that, i'd consider him being culted maybe but there's no cult

pein i can see doing what he's doing as town and this hurts my soul

these are major things that have happened that came to my mind



also i obviously haven't voted yet, i won't vote until there's consensus

can u define what tpein is doing that u see as town but hurts ur soul?

@Magic if u have to target a player during the day to invite them to the chat have u got a chance to use this yet (before we hammer etc..). for suggestions - u can add me or BPD i guess, or whoever

Now, the biggest question everyone will have for me is why I didn't counter claim Vinegar at EOD and the answer is because I was caught off guard with Vinegar's claim. As I watched Vinegar get scummier as EOD progressed, she also started to hint at a reveal that would save her. The way she kept setting up her claim I thought maybe she did have something good, only for her to claim my role. At this point in the game, I was still a bit behind catching up. I also had Magic locked in as wolf (still do) and instantly thought that Vinegar was a bus attempt. Considering I was on my back foot when Vinegar claimed, I really didn't want to expose myself D1 and make things a bigger mess or give wolves any advantages because I thought Vinegar's claim was straight bait. I think the way Vinegar has played her reveal and her posts today show that she's baiting still ('I'm town doc, you're going to lose town protect'). I think her play today shows she's aware she's the lynch and she's once more time to bait out the counter claim before she gets lynched.

N1 I protected Ekko over Fang, which I regret now. Both slots were voices against Magic and I wanted to keep the more active Ekko protected and thought maybe Fang could slip by. I didn't factor into my decision enough how widely Fang was read and that he was a prime kill target because of that. Sorry @Fang I should have kept you.

This read where people go "this interaction is not two townies" but neglect to point out why there must be one scum between them is probably the biggest peeve I have with certain sets of players.

Charlie you're equating two different things. I lied about not being able to claim in favourites because I had my character confirmed as scum to the thread. Claiming treestump only explains why I'm not dead, which i hardly needed day 1 in the face of being lynched (because a treestump claim actually encourages the lynch).

i can add them whenever.

i dont really need suggestions! im not using my role to appease anyone. i'll invite who i think is optimal.

Tpein I still lean town. I haven't really had anything that has pinged me from his slot and positionally he is against Magic. This is a slot I could be wrong about.

Aerso I think is just town. Though I feel he's a bit lost and unfamiliar, I have been able to follow his thought process and I think there's an earnest effort there to solve the game. I'd be surprised if i was wrong here.

Mango I think is town? I think he's played his silliness in a town way and I felt like when Ratchet asked him to iso Vinegar, he did it honestly and thoughtfully. I wonder about how Vinegar played around this slot, which opens the door to Mango being wolf, and he is also the least noticeable out of the four names you've asked about.

Aerso > Whicker > Tpein > Mango

Town > Wolf

im guessing those r all based on magic being scum, and if he turns out town they will be flipped right? or do u individually read those players this way regardless of magic's flip

As I stated earlier I would like to have had the opportunity to ask him about his Whicker town read but he'd already dipped by the time I got to work and started reading this morning. When you ask if I'm content with that, are you asking if I'm fine with him doing so or are you asking if I think he lied? As inactive as I've been, I still don't favor basically giving up so early in the phase. I had intended to wait until just before the EoD deadline to cast my vote in an effort to catch up on reading and evaluate slots as much as possible. I could just as easily have cast another vote for Whicker, or even voted for T-Pein like Ekko was seemingly urging people and called it a day, but I didn't. Can't really say whether or not he's lying, he forgot to mention that in scum chat. He has been gone for a while now though.
 
well good luck to town this game. no point trying to convince you all at this point. remember that Flower/Mango/Magic/Chuck are surely mafia here.

I'm basically asking if you're okay with him just taking the phase off. From this I would hazard a guess to say no you're not.
