I'm not sure about in the cartoon itself but I know He-Man's DC comics adaptation was pretty high into multiversal probably the second strongest toyline out there after transformers

vaguely remember something planet level in ThunderCats but I really haven't seen much of it

I just realized with prep, the majority of transformers continuities have access to planet level weapons too. So even stuff like nuRiD could do it under the right circumstances. The Energon comics and IDW too

With how insane G1 transformers are, do other 80's toy commercial cartoons compare in terms of feats? I'm assuming the likes of the thundercats is much more than meets the eye.

yeah. The main reason for that is to appeal to kids. The more insane feats the more cool they make it to kids and buy their stuff.
