Tbh I didn't get the impression that they were light hearted at all. I was just curious what this was all about.

The problem is that I would expect you, if you believed this sincerely, to want to get the other mason claim regardless of your read on Flower, because a 50/50 shot is a pretty good trade off. You have not done this.

I think you haven't understood my position at all. I said I was otherwise leaning town, but the way this transpired gave me pause for concern. None of this was presented as a "strong prior", particularly after being informed by T-Pein that Masons not being told of each other's player names is a normal convention for the host. If you were really paying attention, you'd know that it was that extra anonymity that led me along to the idea that the mason pairing was scum/town, and with that mostly shelved, I have no reason to hold onto that belief.

I don't wish to get the other mason to claim, and I probably wouldn't have either, because my theory, which is all it was ever presented as, wasn't held with enough conviction to justify claims at this stage, especially because claims should be controlled. I didn't want Flower to claim mason this early, either.

You didn't think me saying I was about to shoot Ekko in 5 minutes with a day kill was a light hearted comment.

Also I think my Mason is Town. Feel like a scum Mason would try hard to gain my trust, but so far they haven't even attempted to do anything like this. I'm not going to out them, though.

But as a wolf mason wouldn't she want to get ahead of the game and act like the onus of suspicion is on her partner? Not necessarily but a possible motivation so not sure why it wouldn't be considered

i agree in that i really dont feel the tone was "light hearted"

like the gif was goofy and all but something about the whole thing still felt forced to come at me like that early

I also didn't rly *focus* on setup discussion either. i just made like 2 posts about it on page 1 when none was here

I wud of liked it a lot better if ratchet waited for me to post more then boom catch me if I continue the setup discussion up to like page 3 or 4 when more players r posting

but the way he just latched on it seems like just wanting to be seen solving, more than actually solving
 
I was obviously fully serious about my threat, because I would definitely shoot someone in 5 minutes with a day kill if they didn't answer my question immediately.

thats just past statistics. u know full well i dont rly try to solve using meta. i can use it as a basis for a weak read but nothing beyond that

its not about it being serious or not
I didn't think u had a day killshot. otherwise why wud u say it anyway. if your intention is to get my alignment and shoot a scum me then you wouldn't tell me u got a kill, because that just leads me into tailoring how i reply to u in order to maybe gain your favor and have u not shoot me

its about the way u came swinging with it in page 2
