None of this was presented as a "strong prior", particularly after being informed by T-Pein that Masons not being told of each other's player names is a normal convention for the host. If you were really paying attention, you'd know that it was that extra anonymity that led me along to the idea that the mason pairing was scum/town, and with that mostly shelved, I have no reason to hold onto that belief.

I don't wish to get the other mason to claim, and I probably wouldn't have either, because my theory, which is all it was ever presented as, wasn't held with enough conviction to justify claims at this stage, especially because claims should be controlled. I didn't want Flower to claim mason this early, either.

Hm.

In the window before the convention was established though, I would sooner expect you to put a bit more pressure on flower than just touch and go with a fence sitting town read based on comparitively worthless info.

Your line of questioning of me on Flower gave me the impression you could be her mason yourself, and that would square things out for me.

I don't really care about your expectations if I'm being honest. I can't sit and thread camp all day. I wanted to see if you had actually put much thought into your initial line of reasoning around what she was getting at, which you clearly hadn't- I'm not her Mason.

Because I couldn't explain why she would delay a claim when there's thousands of different possible scenarios and explanations for it

Light hearted isn't the word I would use. Though I did witness you doing sth similar in Arcane once and you were Town fwiw.

No, because you didn't seem to have spent the 30 seconds or so it would have took to realise that if she was already hinting towards something veritable, and so the idea that it was just an exercise in stalling was pretty poorly conceived.

But I did reach the conclusion that she probably wouldn't stall in the course of a day for claim purposes. Your issue was that it "took 3 questions to get there", when really I was just trying to give you my best attempt at an answer, and before you even arrived my position was just to wait and see what she would do.

You asked me a question that I couldn't answer satisfactorily just to wag your finger at me over it

Your answer was so she could stall and steal/fake something, me commenting that it took three questions was to comment that your initial response was clearly designed to not play ball despite knowing what it was that I was asking for. Next.
