I think it’s reasonable for masons to be any alignment - though they often serve as a claimable role for scum
And how would that work? Typically in most normal set ups, a town aligned mason don't normally have extra abilities.

What I am saying is.
Last game I was a scum and also a mason.
I had my scum ability and the mason one.
The town was just vanilla mason
Indigo slipped that he wasn't aware of his mason partners "role" yet.
If he was the vanilla town mason he wouldn't be assuming his partner had another "role".
Then he had to claim he does have mason + something else.

I asked you for a simple list on what constituted half the game, and you had nothing to say about any of them. I'm expecting that you have some bearing on their alignments, even slight, at least for some of them. For example, I could give some leans for most of the players left over - the one's *I'm* more familiar with.
