1 - Why does Poyser apologise to Ultra in the post where he rescinds his Town read of Tweet if his reasoning now had no issue with it?
2 - Why did other players besides myself take exception with his reasoning, and if I'm not mistaken here, most notably Tweet himself?

I think Poyser is very transparently bloviating in his arguments - he dismisses points against him as stupid and nonsensical and tries to posit that there is no justifiable reason for the conclusions made to have been made. In spite of this, he continues to conflate the arguments themselves - when his reasoning is discussed, he makes it about the conclusion of the read for example. I feel like I've given more than enough opportunity here for him to show some form of a logical thought process - it is entirely absent.

you’re using tweet hating my reasons for hating my switch on him as evidence? Well he also later said that the more he thinks about it, the less it makes sense for me to be scum, so what about that? Also, this isn’t even the same thing you’ve just been arguing. You were criticising my reason for town reading him, not changing him to scum. Tweet never hated my reason for town reading him, the only people to even bring them up were you and ultra, of course ultra wanted to engage about it, because it was fighting against his wagon

Yesterday, I questioned why Tweet as Scum would claim Tree Stump. I believe it was you who provided a perfectly plausible and agreeable counter to that, which I duly retired, and then insisted he was firmly Null. I suppose you can argue that me saying "I don't know why scum tweet claims stump" is town reading him, but you were fully aware of this position I held, and you were fully aware of my resulting progression, so you trying to present it as a contradiction now is outright disingenuous.

So, recalling the start of D2, Poyser emphasizes that my "weakest point" on tweet was his behavior around BPD. You can infer (and I think he said as much at some point), that he town read tweet for his approach on X.

Conversely, as CP noted my "stronger point" would be on how Tweet flip flopped on X.

But Poyser argues that scum tweet would double down. So he's saying my point on tweet flip flopping is the better point, even though it conflicts with what apparently is town behavior. Hm.
