I'm just going off whatever lore was in Ultra's OP. It said 5 convicts, so I'm thinking some of them might be a traitor role or 3P or whatever he wants.

I actually just hosted a game on our site that Ultra was in and we ran a traitor for the mafia team.

Traitor? It's just a role that's mafia aligned but they and their partners don't know their identity and don't share chat. Kind of a soft way of nerfing a mafia team if you give them insane PRs or if the setup # needs.

this is silly, why would we play hot potato instead of just try to take control. that would be unnecessary.

I read it, the sudden wordage of "town reads" when Magic was using "defense/defending" the whole time is strange.

Because on one hand, it'd be a borderline slip that I'm town legitimately being read. On the other, you're insinuating everyone who townreads me is faking it and possibly scum.

I guess I could see the latter if you truly scumread me and want my flip. But I still don't really know why you scumread me besides a "red flag" post about my chouchou read.

Allow me to explain, as I dont think youre getting it

Magic is saying that nobody defending you is bizarre if youre scum as youre the leading poster

Im saying thats not really relevant because its not like you have a large wagon on you, and if one forms, the people who do have town reads on you will likely defend you unless that read changes

what youre posting is incomprehensible, particularly the bolded, given that it doesnt account for the fairly obvious scenario of those players being a) town and b) mistaken about you

You're going to call OMGUS but this absolutely stinks, especially given the timing. Filthy stuff, completely regardless of Frinckles's alignment. Either you were distancing Frinckles and hopped off once that became an actual wagon, or you wanted to push someone and then act like it wasn't your fault when they flipped town. "I'm not against the Frinckles wagon or anything but" is just a fig leaf for scummy play.

This is also effectively a vote for a NL given the way Day is going so there's that too.

sky it is impossible to read your motivations like a normal person. im genuinely baffled by your play as you make it so clear youre playing out of almost solely your own best interests. you had frinckles as town earlier and now youre advocating me to vote for him and asking im not. you had said nothing of grammaton but as it's clear he's not for your wagon like myself or craig was earlier you declare him town leader.

this shit is outwardly scummy and yet there's a chance you're just doing this as town, which is just fucking stupid.

It's all in my posts during the readback. Magic is one of the initial votes on the Frinckles wagon (distance), but goes off when it's got steam behind it (after Gram voted it, notably). Also the spec about "Frinckles might not be scum as no one is defending" when he could... just tell his scum mates not to defend too hard? Magic's definitely got the capacity and leadership to do so

Depends if Frinc is from the same site as Hayumi really. If this is the case it could be a case of trusting a top player for now (I tend to do that D1 tbh)

Where's the suggestion that Frinc instantly backed off though? Could it not have been just a case of finding different more interesting directions? Gonna need you to tell me where Frinc said "I suspect Magic is scum" and then later said "I think Magic is town"
