It might be too on the nose with Lind v Tweet with how he was stretching himself to get birdboy to explore other paths besides Bachi but it strikes me as weird how someone takes that stance in a day 1 scenario with no build up around said player

You've read their interaction, yes? Tweet first brought up the "maths" point on an argument I thought was nitpicky. Bachi himself corrected it with thread based evidence. Then Tweet went ahead and said that he wanted a reason to just interact with Bachi anyway and threw in another line to scum read him which I thought just felt out of place. I've detailed my caveats with this previously in another post.

I haven't asked, but what problems did you have with his defense?

My Tweet scum read initially came from his case on Bachi.

Melkor's prodded other avenues, but has approached Bachi's slot from a suspicious point of view to me. Not sure why you're assuming that I can't shouldn't be scum reading Melkor for his scummier approach to a slot I town read despite Melkor having done something favorable as well. In fact, his is a weaker scum read as I said previously.

I don't know if I'm not being clear here, but I'm not completely sold on my scum reads either. So my read of Melkor might even change.

If I'm lynched I wouldn't advice going after Gad. I might be wrong on Bachi, so I don't want to hold you guys back there. I just sincerely think he comes off genuine.

I'll try and give a re-read and possible re-evaluation of all my reads later if this isn't capped before I'm back. Maybe Poyser is right and I've been too invested in my defense of Bachi to see Bachi's shortcomings. Not sure.

Uh, no my dude lol. If you think Gad, LM, Bachi and I are willingly putting ourselves in the fire like this, then you're wrong. A personal experience and a sample size of 1 in your favor, even if recency bias is weighing in, is just bad outlook.

I'm willing to risk your slot over this. Now, if you stop with posting and talking in the equivalent to a complete monotone that might help slightly. Also bussing is quite common in ranked games here so it's frequency I'd not want to rule out.

My approach is usually cautious anyway. If you've seen my posts in the game I just linked, you can see me re-evaluate consistently throughout the game.

I know I can be wrong. It's a bad trait of me striving for perfection and leading to extreme caution in some cases.
