It does help to at least have a thought process in the thread because it forces then to stick to something. I.e if he outlines his reasoning for a weak reas, he might not be able to move that read so easily when it's convenient. When they're unexplained he can flip it and in defence say "well, it was only weak"

I’ve loosely read some of your stuff with him. I’d rather not lynch Ultra day 1. The part with him going along with Melkor’s misremembering of the avatar game felt weird but not sure he’s that sloppy as scum. And if he’s not scum with Ratchet, Ratchet’s read on him holds enough weight to not want to go there

To be fair if a game happened 6 months ago it basically doesn't exist to me

I still don't think what Magic pulled up really served his point, from a general standpoint most of us are aware Aurelian can be standoffish as town, but it's a leap to say this is 1-1 with what he was doing here

we can cross that bridge of him changing his reads when it happens. in any case he's not gonna use a future reason to justify a past read, so even in the future he's gonna have to use something from the first few pages to justify the initial weak read then talk about the swap if he ever swaps

so from this i understand its just a preemptive sus of magic for something he didnt do, but could do. you see why that's not very compelling to follow? whose kind of putting the cart before the horse now
