In my opinion, it's an apples and oranges situation that entirely comes down to personal preference. Godzilla Minus One, The OG Godzilla movie and the like are trying to do VERY different things with the character than are most Showa era movies or the Monsterverse movies and I honestly think it's important that both continue to do what they excel at as they're both good in their own ways. You obviously can't have Godzilla as the villain embodiment of nuclear destruction in every single film because it's just gonna get old after a while, no matter how good the writing it. Having those movies running in Japan, while the American Monsterverse movies highlight the cheesier elements of Godzilla and focus more on the monsters as characters in their own right while beating the shit out of each other, puts the franchise in as good a position as it can be because it gives the fans the choice. Now me I'm a lifelong Power Rangers fan so I personally am gonna stick with the Monsterverse...

I honestly don't see the problem with Lee's armor costume, it feels like something he would wear in a big battle and it's still got the purple color scheme that he generally wears. Could it have stood to be more extravagant given it's Lee? Sure Is his alternate costume better? Absolutely Is the armor costume bad though? No, absolutely not IMO.

I know, that's why I rated him the best there but of course TFS has people brainwashed into believing Goku's a bad parent when he really isn't. Frankly Vegeta (at least pre-Super anyway and this is coming from a Vegeta fan) is a FAR WORSE parent than Goku ever was. Consequence of having so many minor side characters with archetypes tied to them, or in this case, him only being one of the Barian Emperors and not really being one of the major ones. By the way I'd just like to remind everyone that, for as "problematic" as they claim this to be, THE widely considered best characters and plot threads in My Hero Academia (ie the Todoroki's) revolve around a similar inciting event (ie a father abusing his kids). It's only "problematic" if the story treats it as if it is okay or acceptable and neither ATLA or (for all of Horikoshi's faults) MHA did that.

It's not one that's in the show already, she appears in the third book as one of Artemis' huntresses and basically reveals that she was the brains and basically only reason Heracles managed to complete his labors. Riordan kind of went in hard to shit on the classic Greek Heroes in that book and you can bet your ass that's one storyline modern Disney ain't gonna have ANY ISSUE letting him put in the show.
