Keep in mind I am talkin about Post Crisis here. Post Flashpoint seems inconsistent to all hell. Pre-Crisis is just yeah. DC, contrary to what is claimed, is actually not too badly inconsistent. Almost any time Superman has dealt with a cosmic there is very heavy context behind it that makes superficial claims fall apart fast. Same with almost any other DC Herald. Feat scale is also more consistent. They do sub-planetary stuff with ease or mild inconvenience at worst, can handle planetary stuff fine, and stellar/solar system level feats are usually treated as a rare awe-inspiring feat the heroes scrape through. Most universal stuff is as esoteric as you can get: "This character lifts a book with infinite pages but supposedly its weight is nonexistence or something IDK nothing makes sense in the realm they lift it as the plot falls apart where they're at" or "This character fought this one guy who fought this one guy who represented space" or "Superman destroys realities, but...
