I’ve taken whickers early reads post and removed the ones that don’t present any immediate questions, leaving me with the above, to which I have some questions:
- you give rdk a town lean purely for ‘being in the right’, could you run me through how that standard works on a practical level? Is it your experience that town always make the good points and scum the bad ones? Assuming that’s not the case, why have you applied that logic here?
- Where did I shade Psychic? Where did I pull anything back? Why do you think my reason on BPD is ‘little or no reason’ when I’ve played with the guy and know how to read him (yes, he really is that obvious)
- What exactly do you feel Aurelian called me out for? He himself acknowledged he misunderstood what I was saying
- Which questions of Melkors do you like? Why is your past experience of the DV role of any relevance in an environment you’ve never played in with people you don’t know, and how do you think Melkor would have played it differently if he was scum - you’re saying you think he would have hidden it more - how? We have public vote counts that show the vote numbers, so what’s he gonna do, just never vote?
- your post on psychic makes no sense, but m actually going to assume you just fucked something up because of how contradictory it is, so if you can clarify, I’m all ears

Without context, any individual action can be townie or scummy. My initial reaction to RDK’s interaction with Flower was that it was town. Overall, I put him bull at the time
I’m on mobile so I’m not pointing out specific posts, but you said you aren’t seeing any town reads on Psychic and then go back to having no reads. That’s what I meant by pulling back.
My initial entry to this game is going to minimize meta and incorporate it more as I get more familiar and potentially play more games. I’m not going to ask people endlessly for meta information when that’s one way I feel I can get run around by a good scum team. It looked to me like you didn’t have much to go on.
I mean, if BPD, Melkor, and Lethal are all exposed for being so damn obvious with their meta, then that’s truly awesome. I just don’t buy that all of these can be correct
You clearly know what I meant about Aurelian since you referenced it. If he retracted then I need to reevaluate and I had apparently missed that.
I really enjoy crafting games. My games are some of the more popular ones on my home site and they are often lauded for balance despite being role madness and sometimes bastard. My host instinct really doesn’t like mafia double voter for numbers reasons.
I think he would have at least made sure whether or not his vote would show up in VCs before he voted.
Again I’m not going to quote specific posts, but when I looked over Melkor’s ISO he asked a lot of questions that I myself.
My initial musing on Psychic’s entrance still holds true for me. My gut reaction is that scum don’t come in that way. But it’s ultimately one small point and could be a meta or NAI thing
