I mean Kratos let him get the first hit. Baldur could have killed him but he didn't. And then Baldur proceeded to yeet Kratos through the sky, could have shoved a blade right into the man's throat and be done with the series
Not really. Kratos can and has survived being impaled and just healed from it and even his serious blows aren’t enough to hurt him much.

That actually reminds me, how strong are Archangels in Christianity again?

I remember in the Book of Revelations, Satan as a dragon blew away a third of the stars in the sky with a swipe of his tail

It's like people forget that just because Norse and Greek Mythology are by far the most well known, it doesn't mean they're particularly impressive by the standards of other mythologies. On top of GOW verse just not being a particularly strong representation of them in the first place.

I think the Beast of Revelation and Satan are 2 different things... but I say that because the Book of Revelations isn't fully clear on what the Beast is.
I’m not talking about the either Beasts. Satan was described as a dragon who did the above

While it's depiction of angels can be shaky at times, I do like Digimon's approach to the Demon Lords in always making them OP as fuck (in a series that does borrow from a lot of mythologies), even if they did put the obviously Knights of the Round inspired Royal Knights as their equals.

And couldn't resist having their equivalent of Lucifer lose to a Japanese God. :maybe

Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. She gave birth to a son, a male child, who “will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.”And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne. The woman fled into the wilderness to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Not like people had a grasp of the scale of the universe back than or the size of those stars

Plus a lot of the things in this book of the Bible are symbolic more than anything

An eternal reminder that Lucifer can trick people into believing he's God due to performing similar miracles and it's heavily implied that Archangels are basically seen as Gods themselves(which is why the Catholic Faith and even themselves don't want to be worshipped).
also that why christian didn't want any form of idol or statue. Because the angels and satan has access to miracles and they are more likely to show their form than God.
