I don't remember Tweet's reasons too well either, I remember Tweet saying that he wouldn't categorically vote for Gad, and that Reloaded could "maaaaaybe be town" because of a meta reason from the Avatar game. At the very least you'd go like "Okay, what he's saying and what he's doing at least tracks". I'm not going to defend Tweet much here for him, and would instead point to my own posts as to why I town read Gad here which you're aware of since you've been responding to me and quoting them. Seeing my posts, and watering them down to "He's making easy reads" wouldn't be authentic lol. You can clearly see why I was struggling to Gad as scum and why I thought he was town especially last day phase and how I made those reads in relation to Nibel. It's making reads and sticking to them, despite being "easier wagons", and jumping and pushing others that have logical reasons behind them that you should be looking at.

Scum tend to want to look good, yeah you're right, but would also tend to push easier wagons. There are cases for both, and with our current game context, I really don't see how you think it's the former.

You were also pushing Bachi, someone I thought was town and defending as well, you think that was an easier read as well? I've defended myself against this on day 1 in my posts to you.

This is Lind’s sole reason for reading reloaded town btw, and it’s the complete opposite of what everybody else thinks of the claim. Cp even countered the points here, and yet Lind didn’t re-evaluate anything and cp just dropped it
The points that Tempest brought up can be correct, and then we can also argue that if scum were in possession of a disease spreading role and a fake claim of a "cure" for it, then they'd use it earlier rather than later to give credence to the claim. No reason to wait there especially on a slot like Reloaded who would have been asked to claim sooner rather than later.

Both the scenarios are hypothetical and I really don't see how Tempest and I going at each other over hypothesis or setup design would help. Also, that's an easy way to fall into confirmation bias because the longer the discussion goes on, then I would have positive views on people who agree with me and negative views on those who disagree with me and that would muddy my reads. Especially on a topic we each had no way of proving at the time.

Scum reads are lazy, town reads are easy... my guy, this just isn't the way lol. If there aren't enough reasons to town read someone then they naturally fall into my scum reads. Either I find something amiss in their play or they've failed to reach the town threshold for me. Also, I actually listed why I wouldn't be interested in pushing you much yesterday in a post lmao:

Also this quote came not long before he decided he wanted to vote Nibel over both gad and reloaded.

The lad don’t track. Can we get more votes please
And not long before that post, in a post to you and my previous posts, you can see me vacillate on Nibel's slot and even say that between Nibel and Gad, Nibel gets my vote:

Overall, Nibel could still be scum, but I'm feeling a little less confident on it than before.
Poyser, it looks like you're heavily forcing your scum read on him at this point.

Why not from scum perspective just wanted to look good by defending Gad?
Because like I explained to Poyser you'd have to look at my approach to Gad's slot. Read my posts on Gad, Melkor, and tell me if you think that's a scum approach to his slot or a town approach. Poyser and I have been quoting and responding to each other throughout the game, but I don't know if you've read them.

Tell me what you think.

Nibel being contradictory to his earlier approach and how day 2 went, focusing on Flower/Ratchet's sub and then Gad.
What do you mean contradictory? As far as I recall he's pushing the same people he wanted out yesterday as well with the exception of Gad.

As for the more questionable ones, I cannot rule out a world where both Lind and Poyser could be scum together.
No way, Fang. No way this world ever comes to your mind lmao.

Is Rugrat just genuinely not interested in defending himself? I also don't understand why only 3 strong town reads (including himself) are in his read list. @Rugrat

I’ve not got obvi town vibes from CP which I always do
It looks like he had a thought process here, but just cut off mid way which he says in his next post:
Half my reads missed from the list
But doesn't type it out again or anything lol.

What kind of approach are you using here? You said the same thing about Nibel / Gad yesterday and Gad flipped town. How are you coming to this scenario even?
Why is the fact that Gad flipped town solely on me when others came to the same belief and conclusion around his slot? That's rather disingenuous on your part. Secondly, what exactly is the point your trying to make here? That I can't envision a world where you and Poyser are aligned as scum potentially? That bussing and fake distancing can't be a possible scenario at play?

I've been and still am open to lynching Melkor and the less active players to see where the path goes on what flips we get.

I didn't say that Gad flipped town was solely on you. You were the only one that approached Gad / Nibel as scum / scum. The others had reservations on their slots, but nothing like both could be scum. Bussing and fake distancing is a thing, but there should be something in the interactions that's making you think that way. That's what I wanna know.

President Xi - x shot poisoner (not used either)

My ability is lab leak and I can poison x times in the game.

I’m assuming it’s the de facto vig

Wait, is Reloaded's role a direct counter to this? Since the ability is called "lab leak", I'm assuming Reloaded's immunizer shot counters the poison.

Does the player die the night you use it or does the player die a cycle later or something like that Rugrat?

Unvote.

Claim tracks with how Ultra designs his Vigs and also with the lack of night kills and Rugrat‘s Vig play.

Rugrat is Town.

  • I poison at night
  • The poisoning is announced during day
  • Player dies that night if not healed

Yeah, the lack of night kills tracks.

Thanks Rugrat. Yeah, Gad had a vote silencer as well as town. Not surprised a poisoner can be the vig here since Ultra may have taken creative liberties to not allow claims to just straight clear players.
