Since Flower denied the idea I guess I can reveal what my methodology would've been.

I would've looked mostly for people trying to make it seem like they have a useless role when they don't.

It would've been easier for most to just give a neutral score (5 out of 10 or 3 out of 5) as that doesn't say much either way, but for people who go out of their way to give intentionally low scores they would have to act consistent with that and show consistent disappointment at their supposed "uselessness". And I thought it wouldn't be so easy to fake that.

Once D3 starts and the restriction is lifted we are going to get a lot of roleclaiming I imagine. So that would've also gone to show how fake or genuine people's initial ratings were.
Hmm actually I can believe that these are genuine town-minded thoughts even though I don't agree with the idea as a whole

oh gotchu

I read (but this is for him to ultimately clarify) it as a very soft town read on Psychic, I didn't think Oneiros was connecting those impressions by their own
Exactly. Mostly because it's too early to have any kind of solid reads. Xenos and Gram are the ones I feel the most confident on. Psychic, Ultra, CP can have very soft leans too.
I feel like Pein always claims this kind of ability, he could be saying it to get town points for having a scummy ability.
However in his defense every time that he's claimed an ability like this that I have witnessed, he always turned out town.
Pein wasn't really claiming anything though. He literally can't by game rules?

At this point Ultra had only made 3 posts, which I believe I was the only one to have commented on by then. I mentioned that they seemed genuine, even if lacking juice (which is normal at that state of the game). What did you think was scummy about those posts by Ultra?
@Oneiros Do you have any impressions from the period of the game in which I entered? Because you seem to have an expectation I should have commented on something, when you hadn't done so yourself from that period.
I didn't. It was more of a "not enough content" line.
vote lynch mango

so ratchet and ultra can be correct then. well i gave u the chance
You went from Mango being on your top tier town list to voting him in what seemed like a whim. I am reading back though and thus it might have seemed like a faster switch than it actually was, but it caught my eye.

Half a day gone and you've had Mango as town, scum and indy.
town reading every1 is more of an indie trait. mango can be inde

the mafia is in ultra/ratchet/cp/oneiros

pogtonium solving
Did you also not go from scum Ultra (based on 3 posts), to somewhere there in the middle admitting you were quick to judge him (I forgot to quote that post), then now back to having him on your scum list?

Ekko's flip flopping a lot.

@Goth Boy I don't believe has given a single opinion on something game related even though he has been here shitposting from the start.

[Vote lynch Goth Boy]

I'm gonna park it here for now.

@Flower I liked Mango's posts towards and around Gram. They felt genuine, like he was starting to get into the game. This is very slight, but it was notable because it was an improvement on what I had seen beforehand, so it looked like he was trending in the right direction. I do not like his votes afterwards. He gave some really weird justification to vote T-Pein, and then his vote on me was even worse, and he ignored prompts to discuss it further. I would lynch him today. That was the extent of my position on this, nothing more.

Ultra's entrance seemed genuine, but he barely said anything anyway. Xenos points seem almost too innocent, but I don't know his experience level.

It seems pretty much everyone came into this game with a lighthearted attitude and that's gonna make it harder to spot scum just from behavior.
This strikes me as saying something just to say something. Talking about people and making reads that are "they're like this but could also mean this" tends to be scum more than town in my experience

Can someone give me some insight on Sigismund - is he typically a ‘day 1 is all luck no skill guy’ or is that just a special treat for today?

Idk he usually coasts, sends the usual D1 Flower spite kill and coasts some more.

I would say it's typical - but he honestly tends to be pretty inactive. There have been a few games where has been more regularly active, but I find he often is coasting through big games. I don't think anything he has said so far is starkly out of character, in other words.

Ekko, Goth my preferred lynches atm.

About the two main wagons: Mango I was struggling to understand his reasoning but his later posts have read better. Pein did seem a bit weird around Gram, and from what I've seen Pein isn't really coward town.
