Well how Xadlin claims it works is you wouldn't be able to use any actions but neither would anyone else be able to use any actions on you. So if you used an action and it did nothing when normally it would give you some type of result that would fit.

I thought we could either confirm or deny Xadlin's claim depending on how their ability interacted with your usage.

But I guess at this point we can solely assess the claim based on whether it sounds "believable" or not.
