I don't think this was unwinnable for me and GB at all though, plenty of mislynchable players on the table and we were both in a strong enough position that I think I could've carried us once magic/ratchet/ultra were out of the game. was planning to kill ultra after the ratchet mislynch but GB's unnecessary BG claim blew everything up. also whicker being confirmed by the SK's role PM was annoying. with t-pein and ekko alive to be reliably WOAT for town, GB being investigation immune and a bus drive still in my back pocket and nobody else who would've competed with me for thread control it was still doable.

should have tried harder to lynch ratcher day 2 instead of myself as his solve was already on point.

Nah thats pretty standard for SRM. You're just used to Light Role Madness and Vanilla games.

k these are semantics. my point is it doesn't fit within the bounds of what we consider ranked. townies confirmed in role PMs, town kills galore, same role name used across factions, several roles with multiple abilities, being able to use multiple roles per night, town had every type of role under the sun leaving mafia with little they could effectively claim, and on top of all of that we didn't have any fakes or anything.

Role Madness is still allowed in Ranked, and this is very much a stock role madness game. I'd say even a bit on the Lighter side compared to Fuji or Aries's SRM games

could have just nudged some others back in that direction. i was entirely off-base with the best hope being, if i lived, id follow ultra/ratchet's legacy to go after you guys. dont think you need to include me in that trio.

although i suppose i would have made certain mislynches harder to achieve as i likely dont ever lynch aurelian or consider him and idk if i would have come around to sussing lethal either considering his play around aurelian.

Well, good standing may not be the term I'd use, but it's more that I didn't have him in bad standing. It was mainly T-Pein that I had in good standing since early on. Ekko's insistence on trying to flavor solve in the later plays and begging for role-reveals did brush off some of the good-will, but it was his indefensible behavior following GB being outed that I was not able to rectify as something a town would say in that situation.

with a mass claim we can pin ultra/cp as possibly having a scum in them, obviously cp wud need to claim before ultra given game state

idek what kiku will claim, probably vanilla is best bet

so yeah t-dome between ultra/cp after their claims, then last day we try to find goddess. it'll be a bit harder to do with a vanilla claim but not impossible with bachi and lethal clearing slots

I thought the setup was probably balanced, scum were stacked to the gills with roles and town had lots of VTs. It just so happened that scum got the WOAT d1 and with a daykill and a duel, games can be swingy like that.
