She also dodges and slices Fujino's attacks which at full AOE covered and twisted the span of that bridge in fractions of a second Mind you, still relies on Ufotable for the feat to be properly measured Pretty much

Cero isn't lightspeed anything, and Bala isn't 20x faster than light either. It's like calling Makankosappo light speed because it's name is quite literally some translation of "Demon's Penetrating, Killing Light Gun" because half his techniques have the word "光/light" in them. There's a better argument for Ki being light because Yakon literally eats the Super Saiyan Aura that illuminates Yakon's fight than there is for treating "spiritual light" as light. Yes, ki has better feats, but that's not the point as its taking the description or name of something to inform its properties. Uryu "outspeeding" his shadow could be as simple as him having jumped into the air to facilitate his motion, ignoring that a shadow doesn't look like a dot underneath a person in the first place. He's on panel one moment and not the next, that his shadow still lingers just suggests he possibly took a vertical exit at worst. In that same manner, as he travels he'd be casting a shadow trail (as he'd still...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

More than series like Bleach have going for them. Doesn’t even have real speed feats until the last arc because Kubo is allergic to backgrounds and enamored with the worthless blitzing trope circular reasoning You only need a claim or showing, the bar is subterranean for a number of popularly discussed media

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Low end suggests that, in theory, there is over 100 million shades when Shirou fights them alongside Caren during "Night at Kageyama". Wouldn't argue hyperbole given how fucking packed the surface area of Fuyuki's streets end up being. Hell, its likely a low ball. To thoroughly vaporize a person would be something like 3 gigajoules IIRC, the surface area her omnidirectional expansion covered would be measured in at least some 4.5-9 km^2 where you can apparently fit about 10 million people into about a whole square kilometer. 32 megatons for the former, 64 megatons for the latter (latter would ignore the surface area they aren't in with buildings and shit). Comfortably shits on everything in JJK, even the fraction Rho Aias and God Hand are able to interact with and transfer to Hrunting and Caladbolg II.

Right, forgot Shirou Saber’s HA Excalibur speed feat too for purely VN related feats, which clocks 10-15 times Hrunting, and deflecting and reacting to Excalibur is a good ol’Herakles special You know, that guy EMIYA murdered 6 times with 6 unique attacks with sword play that a sane Herakles mourned he didn’t get the pleasure of fighting longer. Suppose you can also work something out from her vaporizing the millions (given how thickly they were covering the surface area of the city) of Angra Mainyu corpses too for something casually beyond JJK, ignoring literally any connective tissue to the rest of the franchise.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

You pretty much need to restrict it to no opening animations to remove time frames for Excalibur in the Fate route so that you can only measure the power of Excalibur based on how much matter "mud"/water it vaporized in UBW or Shirou's near-death version vaporizing the large Angra Mainyu construct to make it "fair" in terms of yield. Even then, you still have Hrunting in HA to get around. The latter feat being more impressive than the former for Excalibur as the Angra Mainyu construct had more volume of "mud" to work with IIRC. Doesn't help Bellerophon in HF3 is actually kind of batshit (the KE and AOE will probably be high triple digit megaton or more if I could bother because of how small the measuring stick ends up being compared to the AOE), Rin's Jewel Sword emission speed is similarly likely triple digits if I could bother with the slow motion shit and we already know who can react to Excalibur type shit. Even the size of the Lake behind the temple, and the mass of Grail Mud...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Wait @Astaro :hm Whatever floats your boat dude, but not really sure how you can look at JJK and see anything worth while featwise for comparison even just restraining it to literally just the original VN :maybe I already measured everything worth a damn in JJK, saw nothing of value break outside of kilotons. Move it to anime vs anime, MAPPA has nothing on Ufotable's offerings.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Laughs in 4-Petaled Rho Aias blocking a sizable fraction of Excalibur and Hrunting being able to break that same number of petals of Rho Aias. Or Alternatively Laughs in Caladbolg II being able to take a life or 2 from Herakles compared to Excalibur and Caliburn being able to take 7-12. He connects to some fraction of Excalibur multiple ways, something Nrvnqsr Chaos can't manage. Shit happens.

Also, found where the people making SW Respect Threads on Comicvine vanished too after half of them got deleted :hm https://www.suspectinsightforums.com/f3-star-wars-blogs So that’s cool. Their singular series agenda fixation aside, these fuckers are definitely the most comprehensive collector of this shit online. That “ultimate” Odan-Urr thread is basically just mine with some added shit from a later released TTRPG though :maybe https://comicvine.gamespot.com/profile/ct123/blog/odan-urr-respect-thread/107353/ https://www.suspectinsightforums.com/t4481-the-ultimate-odan-urr-respect-thread

I can't imagine puffing your chest over a single statement about speed when the speed in question is basically a lie? Where as supersonic is just generically fast with no real upper bound and not some kind of hand cuff. Also, like, speed feats don't exist in Bleach until the last arc. The first notable speed feat came from Ichigo GTing some storm after getting his powers back fighting fucking Ginjo? And that's only because you can get a time frame from the air pressure moving his little tuft of hair.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Darth Cognus asserted Bane's raw power in the dark side was like nothing she had ever seen or felt despite just moments prior having witnessed through psychometry the devastation of Ambria and Thon's efforts to contain the power it had unleashed millennia later. Bearing in mind, per contemporaries of Thon, the consensus of Jedi Scholars was that the amount of dark side energy that fucked over Ambria was of "more power than any individual had asked of the dark side before." They weren't aware of Nathema, Exar Kun wasn't a thing yet, etc. They did bear witness to the escape of Naga Sadow and the destruction of the Denarii Nova with the Meditation Sphere. Odan-Urr was still alive and kicking well into this time having witness both era. What you believe or the like about the franchise can be whatever. They can be low balled to sub-building level and high balled to the ridiculous, but the pieces exist shrugs

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

It extends to just about anyone relevant, yeah. Thon himself is strong, but he's nothing that even Jedi Ulic didn't manage to match in terms of accolades. Banite, Ancient Sith, KOTOR era, etc all have some kind of connection that can lead back to it. Also worth noting that, to the awareness of the Jedi of Thon's day, the ritual itself involved calling upon more darkside energy than had ever been done before. The knowledge would be limited, but showings including Naga Sadow detonating the Denarii Nova within the Meditation Sphere would have been included.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Yeah, you can drone on in a wall of text about Marvel and the nature of debating in this hobby Doesn’t change the fact Garou depends on a collection of feats I can count on one hand, of which none are remotely of similar order of magnitude. Fa Jin is even more piss than Orochi wrenching energy/matter from the planet’s core and Psychorochi shaving off the top of the planet. Hell, the showings got progressively weaker. Orochi < Psychorochi < Monster Garou with Fa Jin being the underwhelming turd of a cherry on top of the pre-Cosmic power escalation. Cosmic Garou doesn’t even have his own feats, he’s just Saitama’s punching bag that gets compared to him as a matter of course. Gamma Ray Burst may very well have the same intensity of one per unit area, but it ain’t comparable to a real one with how little matter it interacts with the excite the electrons of for measure. Punch s^2 is bullshit without the void. Both Garou and Saitama at their weakest, neither replicate it with several…...

What a mystery :maybe Brevoort's pretty brain dead and not particularly meaningful as a mouthpiece to consider. Authors/editors/etc are human and pretty fucking stupid. Like me, but at least I try to figure out how this shit might interact for fun :maybe Space is empty and vast, no shit Problem is its empty, vast, and every part of it is in constant motion of some such In a static system, it'd be pretty simple to reach your target without automatic assistance across those distances as you're not confounded by moment to moment alterations of position across space and time for literally everything that exists. Our planet rotates around its axis, which revolves around the Sun, the entire star system revolves itself around the galactic core while every bit of matter that exists appears to be screaming away from each other. Even within our local Earth to Moon system, we need to account for the confounds of our planet's rotation and the Moon's orbit to not miss that 0.5 degree dot...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

His strongest punch, that went back in time and wrecked the weakest Garou but still left him more than alive barely kicked up gravel So that one’s more fun to play with Flipping Io’s Surface, the Jupiter Sneeze, whatever the fuck happened with the punch^2 are the only notable feats from that fight. The rest are trash little better in terms of CoE than the one you posted or I mentioned. Weak ass nuke fist in the vacuum of space not withstanding either. No atmosphere, no shock wave, energy is fully dependent on heat and brightness to be measured.

With how far the cast is into the foreground, gonna hazard a guess they’re comfortably 10-20 meters tall at least I’m sure the scans local to the feat would better clarify shit than a small gallery

I was actually enjoying reading and watching this without any compulsion to measure it, can people just not start with that :maybe That lake freeze was probably worth a damn. Even like 100 meters in diameter to depth 1 meter would be comfortably more than half a kiloton. Doubtful it’s that small, would be more of a pond.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Like, I was watching the Netflix Bastard!! anime and the Helloween clash between DS and Nei was treated as dramatic because the energy had to go somewhere once the magic was cast and couldn’t just be canceled Like, Hagiwara, dude, you just described part of conservation of energy. That ain’t special to magic
