Actual good point here. Unless we believe scum were alerted by Ultra(?) suggesting Xadlin should change his target and not announce it, and decided to roleblock Xadlin. Thing is, Pein also couldn't use his role.

If Xadlin confirms the shot, probably one of Xadlin/Pein is scum here.
