lol I'd missed this. Pretty much exactly what I said was missing, I actually think the way it has came is more likely than not to be from town you because you haven't used it as an excuse in the middle of getting heat but why do you have to do me like that
Yeah I got it, you explained that better than I didIt was connected to saying while i am still leaning town on Lind despite him scum reading me. So I would say not a purely defensive argument.
Lindlt has five town reads on his read list. Judging from the thread's content, this is good enough. I have Lind as a solid town RN.Lind... eh I want to say town, but he's still missing something. @Lindltaylor typically you tend to look for townies and your reason is often the kinds of things that mostly get ignored or overlooked, like them being funny or something. Here, I feel like you've mostly been looking for scum reads. Can you explain/reconcile the difference there?
1. Nibel - Town
2. Magic - Null
3. Lord Melkor - Scum
4. Gram - Null
5. Tweet - Scum
6. Tempest - Null
8. Gad - Town
9. Aurelian - Null
12. Mr. Reloaded - Town
13. Fuji - Town
16. Bachi - Town
18. Rugrat - Null
I think you are misrepresenting the events in this thread by the way you described Nibel here. Nibel was feeling weird about Melkor on page 4, and he then actually went on and voted Melkor before Gram. I agree that he doesn't have much activity, but let's judge him based on what actually happened.Don't like Nibel so far. Think he waited on Melkor to get voted by Gram first to then find a way to join in on the wagon, has offered little else but parroting really. In relation to that, Gram more likely to be town.
Vote: Nibel
Ekko is town, I don't think he would do this as scum.
Town leaning on Gad, Lind and Ekko.
Weird feeling on Melkor.
So you had to wait Tweet to come to go for Bachi, right? The-talking-like-a-robot was deciding in your choice to vote against him.
I really don't like how opportunistic you're playing.
Vote Lynch Melkor
That's not really the impression I got from your exchange with him. You can say that but it reads to me as if your saying "can you sus someone else" which comes off artificially as busywork without substance. Also implications aside from that, who are you town reading and why?I didn't ask him to change any read lol. I asked him to either substantiate more on his Bachi read or prod else where too in order to generate activity.
What makes you think I'm not town? Are you a dirty scum?
What do you mean by "waffling? I am not even sure i know this word.
Nope, I find it hard to make reads when most people are hiding in the background. This day phase, most people were acting like survivors. Let us hope that day two will be better. I believe I will settle in with my sus on you and call it a day, tbh. Anyway, since its majority, I dont think that we will have a lynch this day phase.Yes. I decided to give Tweet here benefit of the doubt about being confident he knows your scum game as I did not have better leads at the moment and thread was not moving much.
Do you have any susses besides me and Tweet?
It varies depending on the context. it's not something I can describe accurately in words, but as best as I can - I find players who can still be laid back and humourous under pressure, or weird PRs, or even having a case of theirs shot down, etc. - to be more town than not. Here the players that fit those criteria were Fuji and Reloaded. It's really more of a gut tell and with Fuji, I had meta knowledge on him too.Lind... eh I want to say town, but he's still missing something. @Lindltaylor typically you tend to look for townies and your reason is often the kinds of things that mostly get ignored or overlooked, like them being funny or something. I don't know how you got that impression when my post clearly reads as me asking him to explore other options. And yes, I've put a list of town and scum reads a few pages back - page 13.That's not really the impression I got from your exchange with him. You can say that but it reads to me as if your saying "can you sus someone else" which comes off artificially as busywork without substance. So no reason other than OMGUS, gotcha.I did not get a townie vibe from you so far and you seem to be within your scum range based on previous game when you were MVP. I do not recall anything of note from you so far other than following the push on me.
It is not a strong scum read though, unfortunately i lack those at the moment.
So no reason other than OMGUS, gotcha.
I saw what you asked Tweet, you aren't really countering the point that if he suspects Bachi, then why shouldn't he focus on him? You asked him to give other reads on other players and move off Bachi, which doesn't seem natural from a day 1 mindset.I don't know how you got that impression when my post clearly reads as me asking him to explore other options. And yes, I've put a list of town and scum reads a few pages back - page 13.
HuhWhy did you make this post?
For real? Did you read anything about me? I voted before Gram.Don't like Nibel so far. Think he waited on Melkor to get voted by Gram first to then find a way to join in on the wagon, has offered little else but parroting really. In relation to that, Gram more likely to be town.
Vote: Nibel
You're incorrect on your first point. I already pointed out the problems I had with Tweet's posts about Bachi. I then said that he's focusing too much on his tone read of Bachi and that he should substantiate more on Bachi's slot if he scum reads him that much. I ALSO said that IF he isn't going to substantiate more, then at least explore other options.I saw what you asked Tweet, you aren't really countering the point that if he suspects Bachi, then why shouldn't he focus on him? You asked him to give other reads on other players and move off Bachi, which doesn't seem natural from a day 1 mindset.
Exploring 'other options' early in day 1 is a bit too much on the nose for directing focus.
Tweet has had posts concerning mainly Bachi and has been otherwise just responding to other posts concerning him. I haven't seen him pivot any other avenues.
You being stubborn on your Bachi vote just isn't sitting well with him because he actually looks townie to me. You're hedging too much on your "tone" read and haven't substantiated much else concerning Bachi's slot.
And if you're not going to substantiate more, then I do expect you to pick out other directions like prod other players or give reads on other players here from what little we've seen.
This is where you are trying to direct his focus. So while I don't care what particular inference you want to take here with me in relation to Tweet, you're trying almost from a bargaining position to get him to go elsewhere. If there is gonna be fallout for voting and behavior patterns from day 1 to day 2 then let it be and that bridge can be crossed when we get there.
- Tweet has had posts concerning mainly Bachi and has been otherwise just responding to other posts concerning him. I haven't seen him pivot any other avenues.
- Melkor has tried to approach different avenues and tries to form more town reads. His scum read is weaker than tweet, but still exists simply because his reasoning to follow the Bachi vote is bad imo.
Because it's factually correct. Why are you interested in my callout on Melkor? It’s a simple question, what did you hope to achieve making it?
