It was connected to saying while i am still leaning town on Lind despite him scum reading me. So I would say not a purely defensive argument.

Lindlt has five town reads on his read list. Judging from the thread's content, this is good enough. I have Lind as a solid town RN.

I think you are misrepresenting the events in this thread by the way you described Nibel here. Nibel was feeling weird about Melkor on page 4, and he then actually went on and voted Melkor before Gram. I agree that he doesn't have much activity, but let's judge him based on what actually happened.

That's not really the impression I got from your exchange with him. You can say that but it reads to me as if your saying "can you sus someone else" which comes off artificially as busywork without substance. Also implications aside from that, who are you town reading and why?

Nope, I find it hard to make reads when most people are hiding in the background. This day phase, most people were acting like survivors. Let us hope that day two will be better. I believe I will settle in with my sus on you and call it a day, tbh. Anyway, since its majority, I dont think that we will have a lynch this day phase.

It varies depending on the context. it's not something I can describe accurately in words, but as best as I can - I find players who can still be laid back and humourous under pressure, or weird PRs, or even having a case of theirs shot down, etc. - to be more town than not. Here the players that fit those criteria were Fuji and Reloaded. It's really more of a gut tell and with Fuji, I had meta knowledge on him too.

Here though, activity has been quite low and those situations scarce. That's probably why you haven't seen much of those reads.

I did not get a townie vibe from you so far and you seem to be within your scum range based on previous game when you were MVP. I do not recall anything of note from you so far other than following the push on me.

It is not a strong scum read though, unfortunately i lack those at the moment.

I don't know how you got that impression when my post clearly reads as me asking him to explore other options. And yes, I've put a list of town and scum reads a few pages back - page 13.

I saw what you asked Tweet, you aren't really countering the point that if he suspects Bachi, then why shouldn't he focus on him? You asked him to give other reads on other players and move off Bachi, which doesn't seem natural from a day 1 mindset.

Exploring 'other options' early in day 1 is a bit too much on the nose for directing focus.

You're incorrect on your first point. I already pointed out the problems I had with Tweet's posts about Bachi. I then said that he's focusing too much on his tone read of Bachi and that he should substantiate more on Bachi's slot if he scum reads him that much. I ALSO said that IF he isn't going to substantiate more, then at least explore other options.

And exploring other options allows me to gauge how players approach other slots rather than just tunnel on one. Like, what do you mean it's too much on the nose for directing focus?

This is where you are trying to direct his focus. So while I don't care what particular inference you want to take here with me in relation to Tweet, you're trying almost from a bargaining position to get him to go elsewhere. If there is gonna be fallout for voting and behavior patterns from day 1 to day 2 then let it be and that bridge can be crossed when we get there.
