Well as far as my interest goes, you've been pretty dismissive of Rugrat so far and barely bothered on about Tweet until he slipped a vote for thinking you are being a bit shady. So you didn't seem to care about Cal's vote but when Tweet's came, you noted it. Yeah and as for where I'm breadcrumbling this is basically pretty obvious but usually when you behave with disinterest it tends to clash with your more proactive town position.

In a world he’s town, I’d be surprised if he thought I was scum tbh. He might think there’s not much evidence of me being town and I wouldn’t really argue that point, but sometimes life happens which he would know as much as anyone

Asking him then to ditch an actual stated scum read for that then becomes a reach. At least that’s how I see it, but he can answer for himself too (he already kinda has which is why I’m making this post in the first place, but that’s my interpretation )

You weren’t just saying you didn’t have a read on them though. You went in a round about way saying “based on x’s list, I have y as null. Based on a’s list, I have b as null”. It made no sense lol. How are null reads based on somebody else having a read of them? It just reads like you’re chatting shite

I disagree with your point on Melkor because it’s so unnuanced. As a townie it’s actually very common for you to have an internal thought, only to see somebody voice the same suspicion which gives you more confidence in your own feeling and cause you to follow them on the vote. Even more common earlier in the game! Not only that, but tweet projected confidence based on using the same tell to catch you before. Following that doesn’t require Melkor to remember the games himself personally, because he’s following somebody else’s tell.

You didn’t give any thought to him coming from a townie pov and just went straight into trying to make him look bad for it. It looks defensive if I’m being charitable, and agenda driven if I’m not

What do you make of lind being so confident that you’re town so easily. He says he doesn’t know you so that must be quite surprising to you really?

It’s a bad take because it’s going for the lowest hanging fruit imaginable. I can’t really see a world where a scum player makes that post. If you’ve seen him do this before though then fair enough. Do you have a link to that game out of interest?

How did he counter tweets posts? Because his maths were wrong? Not really a counter is it kek

No, I think Melkor is probably town. A smart fellow such as yourself might be able to piece that together by the fact I was voting him but now am not, and instead suspect the fellow who opened the game sussing him (Nibel). The reason I said what I said is that I still really hate that post he made to Bachi, which is what made me vote him in the first place, hence the uncertainty.

You also missed out the reads of poyser, and to a lesser extent ratchet. I’d be very interested to see your reads given that up until 15 minutes ago or so, you hadn’t made a post I’d consider worth reading

I did forget Poyser (which is the only one), however Ratchet would fall into the “on one hand but on the other hand” category. You didn’t like his bullish/hastey read on you, however agreed with his lay of the land.

My reads are that Fang seems much more open with his posting, when I would have expected larger caution so I believe he is town. I thought Poyser made some EXTREMELY EXCELLENT points on Lind which is why I’m voting him - and why I think Poyser is town.. Tweet is also on this wagon too, which lends credence. Whilst I don’t specifically have a town read on Tweet, he has picked up numerous town leans at this juncture. I don’t like Magic voting GAD. He’s expressed doubts on both you and GAD, in a case of having doubts on two players or suspected parity - I think the “better” player should always be looked at first since they are the bigger thorn, which isn’t something I’m a fan of from Magic. Whilst he may believe that GAD is scummy, he is indubitably low hanging fruit as evidenced by his D1 lynch last game - so I feel it is disingenuous to portray this otherwise.

Because I don’t know what to think on Melkor lol - my read is that he’s probably town by virtue of being opposed to the subset where I think there’s a good chance of scum - trouble is he still has the odd post that looks out of place to me so if I’m considering just his play, I’m still suspicious. Hence the dissonance

melkor let's take a step back and let me ask you if 6 players are playing the first 30 hours is it reasonable to find suspicion in half of them when the majority haven't posted much and basically find weaknesses in those 6 people's posts based on what little occurred.

that isn't to say that everyone that was posting to start the game is town, im stating that it isn't hard to find flaws in approach to people that are working with very little.

the lind read in particular seems bad to me because there's a justifiable answer in there. again i wont give the answer, lind can do that themselves.

the yoho town read he's already retracted. Also lind showed a game showing behaviour from yoho that was similar to this game, which poyser agreed with, and yet that means nothing to poyser's position on lind. he basically called out lind for a bad take that then lind proved wasn't bad and yet it prompted nothing in poyser's mind. Nor did the aurelian follow or lind's behaviour in reassessing after he commented. he basically said he didn't expect it yet it changed nothing to him as far as i can tell.

Tbh I saw that as something of a retraction, otherwise why even make the posts acknowledging that in the first place?
