Game Elden Ring Mafia

yes
"As for my role; I can target a town player and role-protect them from everything but super-kills"

this is not even close to what you said a few minutes ago
Wrong.

If a target a player, the effect will role-protect them if they are town or remove protection if they are scum. Regular hostile actions on the former are prevented, and hostile actions against the latter will work if another player is protecting them.

A super-kill I cannot prevent.

here's all the quotes from the start of when he claimed
Correct and my role also specifically mentions the Great Runes as game mechanics for town and scum.

Where have you called me scum? All you've done is shade me this game. Give me reasons why I'm scum.
I haven't and didn't say I had? Literally wtf are you talking about

You quoted 2 posts by me and acted like I just randomly 180'd, despite a number of posts between clearly showing my thought process between the two. Others have mentioned it to you as well. I asked if anyone knows if you get sloppy/lazy as scum and was told no

You said you claimed your character, where?

might just be better to lynch this guy btw hes clearly full of shit lol

dont believe odo uses terms like super kill
he changed the way his role works. earlier he said he can protect town except against super kills, now he says he does protect against super kills, but he dies instead
dont really believe his win con says "town need to get at least most of the great runes"
This is where I'm at, too. I had some pause when I realised that he could potentially be used like a Cop, but he can't be, and I think even if we lynch elsewhere today he is going to be a topic of debate for the rest of this game besides.

I'm really torn in that regard because on one hand I can buy the concept of the pro-town indie, but also Aurelians play has been big yikes so far imo. I wanna lynch him on play right this second but can already see myself going "yea shoulda known better"

Also has anyone actually stuck up for Aurelian so far? Like a single person?

I mean if this isn't vintage fence sitting Tweet then I don't know

Right, @Poyser ?

Not wrong, here you quite clearly say something completely different

I figured.

I do both. If I target a town player, they are role-protected. If I target a scum or non-aligned town player, they have any role-protection, etc...removed. The flip side is if its a super-kill, then I die but the player I'm protecting will survive. If its a normal kill, we both survive. It also prevents role-blocks as well for a targeted town player.

This says you CAN prevent a "super kill" because the player you are protecting will survive....

Which is it?

Superkill kills its target but kills you or you can't prevent it? These mean very different things.

Meta. As scum he tends to position himself a bit better with his targets. While he's not immune to arguing with townies or shading them I would figure he likes to go for easy mislynches in a pinch and will bring them up over and over, which he hasn't really done.
im not rly in a pinch anyway, and knowing that indies have been how i die in big games everytime id just take this indie lynch if im scum because not only its a lynch away from my faction, it also means i get to be safe from indies

i can tell mafia want this wagon badly, but they wont over extend for it, they r trying to bite slowly while acting to solve somewhere else. something u r doing

Also doesn't even remotely hold water when many times mafia/scum teams or roles can have janitors or janitor oriented tech/abilities that let them hide who they kill and posture with that anyways. So your basically saying take a coin flip and hope for the best based purely off RNG and factors we can't touch and aren't tangible and just run with the belief it'll work out like the way you WANT it to. Any competent scum team while just keep misdirecting lynches and townies jumping on the bandwagon become viable targets and will be the ones controlling everything.

And double-checking from the Aries HxH game, it was Ultra who was saying I was Netero and then linking/quoting most of my posts questioning Flower/Meruem trying to slide with town cred under Solar (I think she was Killuah or however its spelled). I never did anything with the role-hinting unless bringing up that the fact that role-crushing Flower (Mereum) was something that shouldn't be forgotten.

Janitoring is irrelevant only in day 1 and day 1 alone.

Everything other progressive phase after that, its not. It mechanically is the strongest ability mafia/scum players have after the game's start; take out a player who doesn't role claim. Then steal that role or simply put the game's status to the point that even strong town players are pressured to role reveal to make themselves even easier targets to kill or role-crush in the ensuing night phases.
explain this to me

you seemed to fear that being janitored if you got lynched was a thing to be concerned over, but now, you're telling us that your role name is going to be revealed (not janitored) if you're lynched regardless? am i getting this right?

so how can mafia use your role once you're lynched if your role is going to be revealed?

So if you don't scum read me, what is the point of you shading me? You said I misrepresented things and am sloppy. Wow those are such nice things to say to a townie.

What are YOU talking about now? 180'd on what? The Yoshi shit? Yeah, you asked for claims from him, which means you didn't trust him or read him as scum. Yoshi comes out and ALL he says is 'should I claim'. Wasn't asked. Wasn't forced. All that happened was that it was suggested maybe he should be he responded with that comment, and you took that comment as being such a newbie, innocent comment, that you went from wanting Yoshi to claim, to having a strong town read on him. I don't buy that progression at all. I don't think me calling you out for that is sloppy? That shows I'm paying attention to the game and take issue with what you did.

Who are the others that have mentioned that apparently me calling you out on this is sloppy? Tpein? That's a great defender for you.
