I wanna ask, but I don't wanna feel dumb.
Take a Vig role.
The Vig has 3 shots and gets killed N1 and used one shot N1. D2 or N2 the GD targets him and gets his remaining 2 shots which he can use N3 onward. It's like a universal backup role.

Oh you mean literally gets their role. I thought you meant learns their role. So I was confused why it wouldn't work on janitor since this isn't flipless.

Never fear asking questions, it's how you learn and gain experience
I've never been a stump and completely overlooked the number aspect of stumping myself and now I know when I land this role in the future to not do it so hastily
It's best to activate such a role when your flip is either needed or when you think you get killed at night.
But it's water under the bridge, I like having a stump to rely on.
Ask a plethora of questions
Ask plenty questions toward experienced players regardless if you come off as dimwitted, because it also helps with solving - if you don't understand roles, it's very important you do in an ongoing game so if there's any blips, scum also don't latch onto that and shade you over it
Example: Joygirl misspoke and did an oopsie and no one gave the benefit of the doubt and she was locked as autoscum do to it.
