Game Elden Ring Mafia

Janitor is irrelevant if you have already claimed your role for what that is worth

Janitoring is irrelevant only in day 1 and day 1 alone.

Everything other progressive phase after that, its not. It mechanically is the strongest ability mafia/scum players have after the game's start; take out a player who doesn't role claim. Then steal that role or simply put the game's status to the point that even strong town players are pressured to role reveal to make themselves even easier targets to kill or role-crush in the ensuing night phases.

Do you realize the irony of justifying not claiming by insisting mafia might hide your role?

Yes but you claiming your role means they can't use yours, so it's not really relevant to the discussion for not claiming.

Roles are good sure, but good players are more valuable than a good role IMO, so there's not really any reason to not claim

wow so then why not claim lol

They obviously can't janitor me since if I get lynched anyways, my role will be known.
If I don't get lynched, my role is safe.

Someone like Ratchet or Ekko pressuring me to role-reveal so it can vouch-safe my role even if it means my death is assured isn't my style of play anyways so there is no merit in it for me.

Off chance I role-reveal and survive the lynch, then I get killed anyways in the night phase.
Big fucking whoop de doo.

And there really is no reason for me to role-reveal on the slim chance I survive this. On the other hand, in a more recent mafia game I played on FV; one of the alternate mafia faction's godfather killed one of the most important town roles early in the game, and used that to fake claim as town investigator until they were outed in day 5 but it lead to several strong town players getting lynched based off circumstantial voting history in past lynch wagons.

Yes but if you don't reveal your role you're going to do, there's no real world here where your role is safe either way.

It's pretty much an option of town lynches you, or you potentially face scum actions which can be navigated around.

Town benefit is you claim, if you are town we can move to someone else and maybe lynch scum, why would that not be in your interest?

That last example I don't see the relevance to you claiming or not. Janitor can be good sure, but if you're trying to say you have a good role and can be janitored, you claiming completely rules that out

mafia is never killing u here lol. not after all of this

look u r one player. u could be town, u cud be scum. i dont know.

what i know however is that the majority right now is town. this is fact (unless bastard ass game lol).

what the majority says > what u say

if the majority demands a claim, and the majority right now is town. u need to listen or u hang

ur options r really limited

can u claim for me atleast? i may be able to pull u out of this but i need u to collaborate. i cant do much to u otherwise

Curious here but out of pure interest, if I wasn't on the executioner's block right now, who else would you want to see targeted for a lynch besides myself?
yes RDK lol

curious did u actually get a chance to catch up lol

I don't necessarily agree with this but I don't really have much energy to argue against it at this point.

True.

I'm not gonna say what character I am but going by how it was defined, I can bodyguard a town player or remove role-protect from a scum one/indie from the way it was described. I can only use that ability 2x times but if the Demigods or most of them are gone and the town takes most if not all the Great Runes, then my role-protect ability can become permanent instead of limited.

Was that so hard.

I don't quite understand why you are drawing the line at character though, when the role is more important information.

are u an indie lol
