i will say while i dont want to use the entire day to just lynch tpein, i also dont want to out a bunch of claims that scum can use if we're likely just lynching tpein as it will do us no favours anyway.

also that's a pretty ideal night phase tbh. not in terms of town death's, but id imagine both tsworder and xaldin would have been in POE for awhile and late game mislynches, especially with those roles, so this definitely helps.

Still, three townies are death.

Interesting that both look like good vig targets, but it is more lilkely one was killed by scum and another by town vig?

I think the prev bits of sus I've raised about Ekko are more of an interest to me than T-Pein's play. T-Pein has also raised a meta point about Ekko being scum which I'm inclined to think has some point to.

Disagreed with Dalton wanting Tweet to be shot. I don't have much else of an opinion on him

But then I started thinking about magics play independently and I think there’s some scum equity there regardless. Firstly I haven’t sensed anywhere near as much effort to town clear people this game as he showed in the last game or generally any game I’ve played with him over the last few years. I also think the fact he chose to hammer down on lethal to be a fairly interesting choice, as lethal is the kinda guy that magic would usually try to clear early than scum read. Like he took the reason we town read Lethal last game and twisted it into a scum read this game. Now, it made sense of course and I even agreed with it, but in hindsight I feel like magic would have tried to give lethal benefit of the doubt there, especially as he doesn’t really believe lethal to be capable of being self aware as scum.

Also I noticed a bit of manipulation in his posts. He was referring back to the previous game randomly in order to explain his own behaviour in this game. IE “Last game when I was town I did x for y reasons, and I’m doing x again here because I am totally town and it totally worked for me last game”. Pretty sure he did this more than once, but the one that actually sticks in my mind is his reasoning for switching from tpein to lethal (the scum read vs the absence of a town read). Seems pretty SLIMY and not something I think he generally needs to resort to in order to make a point as town

I do not think Magic hammering Lethal makes him look bad. We have majority lynches here and there was no time to form other majority wagon. Would no lynch be preferable outcome?

idk, one of them was a redirector so maybe that played a part. Or scum kill got protected. Or a busdriver. Maybe one was a SK kill! no real reason to speculate until we have more info.

maybe we can mass claim to find out.

I can recall a couple of frustrated Magic lectures about the importance of making town reads early

i didn't hammer lethal, i changed my vote back to lethal when they were close in numbers and shifted the lynch. you dont find that scummy?
 
After a ISO during the night I think Melkor looks better. Not enough to put him in my Town leans, but I think his play can come from Town Melkor. I compared his posts to some from his recent scum games on NF and they look a bit different.
 
i actually dont mind nat's posts on lethal/the wagon after looking over them. i mean she was wrong but that doesn't mean her conclusions were really scummy and i dont think she's familiar with lethal's game.

what do you think of poyser? are you surprised poyser isn't voting you again? do you think it's scummy poyser is voting you?
