Ekko didn't give a town read to you while repeatedly calling it Town v town. I found that preemptive. As cp said earlier it looks like the town read got stronger after the fact rather than at the time of all this happening so there was really no reason to be trying to get you off anything you were doing rather than letting it play out so he could read your slot.
Also I'm sure you can agree that even the lean that you were towny for taking your time with your response (opposed to just not around) doesn't actually make much sense.
As for the leader thing, he took on this approach because it wasn't working. Its not me auggesting it as an assumption, it was the exact reason he gave to adopt it. He's only been town when doing this. He's done better in every game because of it. The fact he reverted to an older Meta, that he has done before as scum, would make sense as scum as it's more of a Comfort zone thing.
The stuff with tpein is the same way. He stated in an earlier game that tpein is always Paranoid about his slot and so towncore hasn't been a thing really. This game it started off the gate. I'm not trying to discredit either of them, but it pings me because it's screaming in my face.

From the post where I said 'I hope to disengage with Fang', I responded to Fang twice more before I told him I was going to 'politely stop talking to him'. After that, I made one more post to him and that was it. I don't think that's a LONG time to take to end our conversation. As well, in an early post, you said I was even lightly pushing him, which is also untrue, and nothing something you've cared to clear up. I think you're treating events and player reads with bad faith....
i do concede that initial point came before the accusation but it also makes no sense. he wasn't taking his time he just wasn't present likely because he left. how would that be towny at all.
also, in regards to bpd eventually stopping, it was a long while he stopped and you kept repeating the sentiment. there, again, was just a lack of real progression there.
